Uub would have already been ~4 as of Battle of Gods, and if Revival of F ends up being 3 years later as Whis predicted, Uub would be ~7.

Goku and the gang shouldn't be meeting him though, as no one (even Goku) seemed to know who he actually was at the end of the series. Though Toriyama has been changing things, so... xD

But there isn't Ssj3 Vegetto in Buu arc. I'm confused too.
If it would be a fusion, I would expect Gogeta instead of Vegetto. And I would expect him as Gogeta ssjgod not ssj3.

Until the movie comes out, we have more questions than answers. But its still something new to talk about.

Ya I can understand why. They refused it a 2nd time against Buu, so why now, right? Still though, there's always that chance. I wanna know if anything will happen with Uub though, making that 10 years worth of training validated

Nop, Goku knew it. He even asked Buu to fight him right away while Vegeta was just asking him to tell them who Uub was.

Nothing Goku said or did implies he actually knew it would be Uub. He just deduced the whole thing right around the period we saw in the manga, knowing it had only been 10 years so the reincarnation would be a child and that U-u-b = B-u-u.

Don't see any reason for that. If Goku and Vegeta did the fusion dance instead of using the potara, Gogeta would be the result.
Same thing with Ssj3 Vegetto. It just didn't happened back then because there was no point.

I don't know if I like the idea of Freeza becoming so strong that they need the fusion to beat him though.

I would like more the idea of this Freeza Revival become a test for Goku and Vegeta overcome alone.
