If it has achievements on the 360, it has trophies on the PS3.

I was just checking the new upcoming games and DBZ Budokai HD was one of them that showed up, it's a little strange that it only lists "Includes the authentic Japanese voice-over cast" and "English voice-over cast" isn't anywhere to be found.

Could it be that for PAL the audio track is exclusive Japanese and the US gets only the English dub?

Saying that it "includes" the Japanese cast makes it seem as though it's a bonus on top of an already-implied English dub, IMO.

Big @ As evidence there's this of the PAL release and the US has English dub without traces of the Japanese audio track.

If this game uses music of BT2 and UT I'm fine with it, but BT3's in there too.. I'll perhaps just turn the music volume to 0% and listen my own custom soundtracks.

All PS3 games since January 1st 2009 have had trophies as a standard requirement. The only ones that don't are downloadable Mini's (the ones you can put on your PSP) and PS1 and PS2 games from the PSStore.

It's very unlikely but Namco Bandai could add Super Saiyan Bardock to Budokai 3 as a DLC?

Just why not, they're going to add an orange outfit of Goku to some Naruto game.

Yeah, but that's a new game. This is just a collection of old games that they probably don't want to invest too much money in.

I don't think you can add any new update to older games given that Budokai 3 came out 8 years ago.

Because that would require some effort being involved and Namco Bandai clearly isn't up for that. The thing is, I feel more people would buy it for online, not really me as I'm not the biggest online guy out there, but it would be a cool feature for people who do.

I also have a feeling a lot of old Budokai fans are going to buy this without reading any of the articles about this game, and just assume there's online.

If it had an online mode and for some reason you didn't had the Online Pass, or it was lost, stolen or etc, you'd have to pay 800 MSP ($10 / £10).

This is the downside of this HD Collection, other than that it's all right (got a problem with the music? load your own), I guess.

At this point, about two weeks before the release date in Europe, there's still no official gameplay videos with directly recorded sound. Maybe they don't want to let people notice the replacement soundtrack.

You think? Perhaps they realized the game might get slandered online (like on Youtube), so they are just holding out until later after people already bought it.

Replacement only? What about this?

It sounds to me UT-ish so as if it was composed by Mr. Takaki. Maybe it's the only new track.

The trailer soundtrack is the best music this game is gonna have.

This better be the Opening/Ending and have Full Version.

I don't understand what you're talking about. Regardless of new tracks, It's still replacement music. What matters is whether the soundtrack is the original one or not, and it indeed is not.

When I was thinking of replacement music = BT2, BT3 + UT however, I heard that new track and it could be part of the game, but nonetheless, it's all a replacement soundtrack.

The original score of Budokai 1 + Budokai 3 were composed/modified by Yamamoto.
