Wait, what was that? Is that a mod of BL or could Gokuu go SSJ2 in BL (I really don't remember).

He couldn't transform into SSJ2, which was a shame. :/
I think the ending was unlocked after you finish a Broly what if story where you fight SSJ2 Gohan at the end, or something like that. :P

That's so lame how they made the model for SSJ2 but they didn't even include it as a secret transformation.

Well so that seemed like the indication that Dimps was planning to release a sequel (Burst Limit 2) but for some reason Namco Bandai went back to Spike. :(

I should play Burst Limit again when I have it because the game's really fun to play and sadly, very short (story mode lasts 1-2 hours more or less).

That was my thought too. The whole reason for felt like they were saying "we're not done here."

What's the likely hood of them ever coming back?

Maybe this is the comeback game we have been waiting for. Am I the only one though who hopes its for the new Xbox or PS4? Like just in terms of the environment destruction it would be awesome and the lighting effects. I'm getting excited just thinking about it :D

Right! Just a reminder that we got news on UT from V-Jump on May 3rd and Raging Blast 2 was announced via V-Jump on May 8th.

I call this part the waiting game.

Although I'm still trying to suppress my excitement in case nothing comes of this.

360 and PS3 still have a big DBZ game in them, neither RB2, UT, BL or Tenkaichi 3 used anywhere near a DVD rom's full space.

I'm not sure honestly. They've kindda upgraded to Street Fighter recently, and that seemed to be priority number one for them. However, I don't think Capcom has anything new coming up so maybe Dimps has some free time. Still, I'd imagine they'd cost Namco-Bandai more money than Spike would at this point so they might not be an option anymore.

I also used to think it was very unlikely due to Dimps moving on to larger projects and being more costly. However, not too long ago, Namco Bandai had Dimps produce a Saint Seiya game of all things. Considering how that series isn't exactly mainstream nor as profitable as Dragon Ball yet they took the risk and had Dimps do such a game anyway, it's possible that they could get them back to develop another DBZ title in the future.

Saint Seiya for PlayStation 3 looks really good and fun to play, what's interesting is that it's a 3D action adventure game so why haven't Namco Bandai asked Dimps to do one in the same style?!

Throw in the original Dragon Ball music of the series and playing through the Dragon Ball story mode (DB>DBZ>DBGT>Films>Specials) would be a joy. There's DBZ Sagas and DBZ Infinite World, that I can remember. But neither are for Xbox 360 or PS3.

Of course more than likely we're getting another Spike game and alike Tenkaichi/RB again.. Bummer. :(

A game like that would feel like it's taking the high speed action away from DB, they should speed it up a bit. I'm quite surprised that Dimps made that though, I thought it would be by the guys who make Dynasty warriors. :P

Don't count on it since those are new consoles and I think we are not going to get a next gen DBZ game for another couple of years. I say by 2015, we should get a PS4/Xbox 720 (I have no idea what to use for the third Xbox) Dragon Ball game. Our first HD DBZ game we got was Burst Limit which came out two years after the 360 was release and a year & half after the PS3 was released.

Good thing they weren't (Omega Force) because all of their games are the same just with different skins, so you'd be basically buying a game you already own but slightly different. Whether it be One Piece, Fist of the North Star, Gundam or Bladestorm they're all Dynasty Warrior games.

Normally Japanese developers are praised for releasing high quality games, but Omega Force is even worse than Spike, Spike in comparison is actually okay.

As I've said in a different thread, Dragon Ball doesn't really lend itself well to the Muso/Warriors gameplay. There are only a handful of times where Goku/others face off against hundreds of enemies. We'd be facing off against hundreds of Red Ribbon Army soldiers, Saibamen, and Cell Juniors.
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

They can be creative and make new enemies for a Muso/Warriors game. I think for playing through the Fusion Reborn story, you can have Gotenks fight through Hitler's army or during the Super 17 saga have the other Z fighters fight through a bunch of old foes on Earth.

I don't think I would really want that game but all games so far have done a pretty good job of filling in the gaps with unique enemies. They could also just throw together their own story like Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans or Online.
