Seeing him pop up here with a whole new, badarse transformation makes me really hope he isn't wasted and tossed aside like trash as he was in the main series.
Either he wins or at least transforms again during the battle. The other options I cannot accept.

Someone pulled out the Z sword in universe 9, almost certainly one of the humans. So, at least one of them is SSJ tier.

However, Salagir made it clear that is doesn't mean that it was Videl who pulled it out, so, almost certainly, it wasn't her who pulled it out.

@new page
Seems Cold has landed the first hit and Videl realised she's underestimated him. I can see her going even more Kaioken only to see Cold transform to his true form and pwn her. She has two handicaps, the sword and her Kaioken damaging her body. I can't see her winning.
Is it safe to say that Kaio-Ken X's 2 Videl > SSJ Gohan (Non-enraged)?
Based on new page, I dont think so.
She's wielding it with one hand, while we see Gohan swinging it around not so casually with both hands before breaking it.
she only lifted it with one hand. She's wielding it two handed on Cold. Even base goku could lift it.
Didn't Salagir state before that he thought an Earthling's limit was SSjin level?
He mentioned special cases. Videl is one of them.
It was stated in that hidden page with universe information that he was the one who sealed Rou Kaioshin in the Z-Sword.
Confirmed as a fake incomplete page. The fact that its hidden and was not even in the French section says a lot.

That page said "information that is also already on the manga is 100% confirmed, information that is also in the french fanfic is 90% confirmed and other information is 70% confirmed".

That means that the page said from the beginning that a lot of the information wasn't confirmed just yet. That doesn't mean it was fake. It was simply not confirmed yet, it could be subject to change in the future. After all, this page wasn't done by some other people... It was done by the DBM staff and placed in their site.

However, I don't think that page was meant for the readers to see. And when it was discovered, they took it down and said that it wasn't true and it wasn't confirmed yet... Which was basically what the page said all along.

That being said, its very likely that XXI will turn out to be exactly what that page said. But its simply not confirmed yet.

Not to look a gift horse in the mouth (now that we're actually back to the main story...), but I'm not really buying this whole Videl thing. Honestly, I couldn't see her being strong enough to master the Kaioken (I'm barely buying the whole Z Sword thing). Tenshinhan? Piccolo? Uub? Sure. Videl? Eh...I don't know if there's enough there. I don't even think Krillin could handle it.

Plus, I think the camo pants are tacky.

Er... why? Its pretty much what it says/implies in french.

Salagir probably just wanted to be ambiguous instead of deciding on fixed numbers to avoid too much controversy and let the reader believe what he wants to believe regarding the subject.

Well, Salagir has already implied that she didn't actually remove it herself. So, she only has to be able to wield it.

That means that her base power is somewhere between Kibito (who is probably very weak) and base Gohan.

Also, Salagir believes that the saiyans in the Buu saga in their base form aren't that much powerful compared to their base power right before they achieved SSJ. They are probably stronger than they were, but, for example, base Goku of the Buu saga isn't stronger or as strong as he was as a SSj in Namek.

Anyway... This is the beauty of the multiverse... They can be different just because they are. Its another universe, god knows what is different there... She could have been born a few years later, resulting in her having a different genetic make up than "our" Videl and thus being more talented. They could have Goku as a woman... Anything really... The multiverse theory implies infinite possibilities, so... Its the perfect plot point to introduce far-fetched possibilities while still being logical.

And that's why this comic is awesome!

The thing is, Cold may have not had another form but here he does!

Goku not being stronger in base form would make a lot of sense, that's why they keep trying to achieve another form of SSJ to keep up instead of making their base form stronger.

Not REALLY familliar with the universe this Videl came from... but if there was no need to go to Namek, Gohan probably would've ended up in school, which could've meant he knew Videl FAR earlier. They could've trained together, maybe Videl could even have been present when the Androids attacked (if that even happened, though Yamcha is an Android so... possibly) and if she kept training and training I think she could definitely master the Z-sword, especially if she went and died and learned Kaio-Ken :p or... have a power boost... Karin's water... Kami training...? Room of Spirit and Time Training? It's kind of stretching it, I guess, but at least one universe in which Videl is of any use fighting wise is awesome in my book :p And the army pants are a bit... yeah, give her back her bike shorts :p
