Guys, assuming this story will eventually link with EoZ. Don't you think it's weird how Goku is excited to fight Uub while Goku should be much stronger than Buu by that time with his new god form.? and who knows what kind of training he did after achieving SSJG.

On the contrary. Look at how strong Freeza got in just 4 months; Goku sure looked at it. Now imagine how strong Uub could get in his life.

Already happened for me; there was (quiet because there's other people in the house) squeeing when ssjg Gokû surprise-flashed on-screen. I am so happy I get to see him again. TuT

Everyone looks great in this series; it just looks really tight in design and I'm so so excited for next week (Ahh Vegeta family trip episode!!! ).

Don't be counting on it. The rating will most likely give a figure of how many people watched it on TV in Japan: I doubt that they have a way to take into account all of us who have watched it through streams and the like.

That said, maybe they have a way to estimate it: a similar case regarding ratings helped a Spanish TV series overcome a possible cancellation.

Neilsen box is used in japan I believe, there's no way of knowing who streamed it, so the japanese who watched with a nielsen box will be the only ones counted.

By the way a neilsen box is how you get said ratings just so you know.

Agreed, the opening song is pretty crap and really lacking in power, charm and energy. The ending wasn't good either and the next episode preview.. let's not talk about that.
That's the only negative about this series so far.

(Then again not even Goku went SSJ2 so the series probably continues the trend of pretending that this form doesn't exist)

I really liked the opening as well. I feel like it foreshadows future events pretty well, but the main focus is definitely on Battle of Gods. So I hope we get updated animation for every arc, at least in a similar manner to Kai where some of the scenes were replaced with content more relevant to what was currently going on.
