A fun adventure game like Revenge of King Piccolo would have felt so much better on a PSP. It was too shot for a console game but just right for a portable game. Also, I don't know about you, but when I get a new PSP or DS game I tend to take my time with them (usually in short bursts at home or when I'm out of the house) so the experience feels longer.
Both those games sold worse than ass in the US.
Both of those games were bad, but they had potential.
RoKP looks like a fun game, but the problem I keep hearing is that it is too short. If Bandai did the exact same thing on the PSP, the game would have gotten a lot of praise for being a fun little action adventure game on the go. The graphics would have to be downsized a little bit, not by much though, and the gameplay aspects look like they would work just fine. Plus with PSPs online capabilities you could keep the fighter part as a neat little bonus with friends.
If you ask me, DragonBall Origins almost got it right and would have been so much better if it wasn't for the dual screens.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

Advanced Adventure was pretty good for what it was. And Origins made creative use of both screens.SparkyPantsMcGee wrote:Both of those games were bad, but they had potential.

I'd say they're both better games than Revenge of King Piccolo. That game just reeks of rush job. Also, it's almost the exact same game as Advanced Adventure. Only, Advanced Adventure covered more of the story, had more platforming, had music composed for the game, and had all if not more of the features RoKP has.

I'd either like to see a SuperDBZ 2 or a new game using the same fighting engine as Tatsunoko vs Capcom.

What I think would be completely amazing:
-PSN/Virtual Console/Wiiware/etc releases and/or HD remakes of the Botuden games
-Super DBZ 2
-An HD remake of "Legends" or a new game very much like it.
-A console RPG, in 3D
-But really, anything that's a break from fighting games (on consoles [not Wii])
-Something else for PSP. I'll take even Shin Budokai 3 on that one (No more Evolution).
If it's going to be another fighter:
-Storywise: something that either goes completely through DB/Z/GT with movies as side-stories or something that covers them while giving us a whole bunch of new stuff with original characters and a plot for 'em.
-Create-a-Character! It can have 10-150 characters, but if we can make our own, I'll never quit playing it for years. Something detailed, but still retaining Toriyama's style.

A NekoMajin Z RPG/world-party advencha!
Perfect excuse to throw in random DBZ characters (and Kuriza) in random situations...
NMZ4 leaves an opening for a long and involved sub-plot (unless the narrator has anything to say about it)...
There are 28 Neko Majin known in the world (Um... the original, Mike and A-Z?
)... I smell filler! And it showered recently!
Thing is, that'd be small and niche and probably would go right under all but the Daizexest of radars.

But fun, guys!

"The Adventures Of Mr. Boo & Mr. Satan!"
A platformer game in which the player takes the control of either Mr. Boo or Mr. Satan (or both, in 2-player mode).
Go wild, people!

I'd be all up for a sequel to Super DBZ. While not necessarily one of my favorites, it certainly was interesting to play once in a while a few months ago.
My only problems with the game were the way things needed to be unlocked, and the amount of characters that were in there.
I think a second, proper follow-up would be sweet.

I'd also like a sequel to SDBZ. Budokai never felt like an actual fighting game to me but then I don't really like the "dial-a-combo" fighting games. As has been said a million times, very rightly, the Sparking series is more of a DBZ simulator than a fighting game.
What I'd really like to see is a adventure game or RPG that doesn't just take lazily retread scenes we've seen hundreds of times before or, like the recent Attack of the Saiyans, take snapshots of the anime and barely pad them out into sequences in an RPG with no real attempt to make things gel. So maybe a nice "what if..." adventure game or even a game with the storyline set in a "free space" in the DB timeline. Either way, one of the most addictive and enjoyable things about RPGs and adventure games is not knowing what happens next, trying to get to the next highly anticipated story event. Also, the sense of exploration and discovery. If they're just using plot events we all know, there's no sense of anticipation, no wondering what happens next and no sense of exploration because the events are just being spoonfed to you in the prescribed order.
They could even be really progressive with it and have a bit of fun with some of the less used parts of the DB storyline such as the time travel. A game in which you play as Trunks and travel around through different events of the DB storyline (so they get to use the major canon events) but with the aim of seeing what happens if you change things around. The game could take only about 6 hours to play through but would be different each time because of what you do and what you change. Various endings, many unlockables based on what you see and do and a fresh take on the lazy retelling of the same old events while also giving some sort of root to the fun "what if?" events they sometimes use in other games.
