Yeah, I mean with only 1 audio track wouldn't it look better?Big Momma wrote:I thought the purpose was the DBox footage...CashmanX wrote:

Mega Man and Monster Rancher. I thought it was MUCH better than Faulconer's score (which only had two songs I liked).Commander_Red wrote:It's interesting the difference a budget and a good voice director can make. I think I heard the music was recycled from a megaman cartoon or something.TheGreatness25 wrote:Well the Ocean dub never went back to fix anything, so that would be the more inaccurate. And to be honest, the later Ocean dubbed episodes for some reason absolutely dropped the ball and don't compare to their earlier work. The music is terrible and there is little emotion in the voices. Plus all new characters (like Trunks) sound pretty bad. I was a huge fan of the first two "seasons" that they did, but Youtubing their later stuff is just...terrible.

The Faulconer music often sounds like music from the Mega Man video games, and the later Ocean music is literally from the Mega Man cartoon.
Folks involved in the dubbing of DBZ love Mega Man.

But he's also a fighter, through and through [...] he fight until he has, in no uncertain terms, beaten his enemy on terms they can both acknowledge. He doesn't want to kill anyone, or even prove that he can win... he just wants to know he can. He's an ineffably charming bastard who's manly leanings were really incendental, and yes, the fact that he was voiced by a squeaky woman made the combination perhaps all the more charming.

Can I get a Schemen?
I think it had more to do with Ocean having the rights to that specific score, since Monster Rancher/Farm had it as well.penguintruth wrote:The Faulconer music often sounds like music from the Mega Man video games, and the later Ocean music is literally from the Mega Man cartoon.

I was kind of a fan of the Faulconner music. I'm not saying that it was the most appropriate music to be playing at times, but I like it. I like the main theme, the Ginyu theme, the Frieza theme, Vegeta theme, Super Saiyan 3 theme, umm.... The Trunks theme, the slower version of the Trunks theme.
The instruments that were used absolutely sucked, but the beats were nice. If they hadn't used pots, pans, and scraped a nail against a piece of glass, it would sound better, but whatever.

I agree, I think if the music wasn't so frequent and they only used it during important moments it wouldn't be nearly as unbearable.TheGreatness25 wrote:I was kind of a fan of the Faulconner music.
