It's comparisons like this that make me kick myself for getting so many of the single DBZ DVD's years ago.

I want it, but I want to finish watching my first DBox before deciding to buy. @_@
*Would not feel right buying the 2nd one until she finishes the 1st.*

The screenshots, box, and book look really pretty though.

OutlawTorn wrote:I think the time for second form Freeza has already passed, because isn't final form Freeza introduced by episode 84 or 85? So, perhaps something like this:

Dragon Box Vol. 3 - Freeza
Disc 13 - Ep 85-91 - Final Form Freeza
Disc 14 - Ep 92-98 - Super Saiyan Son Goku
Disc 15 - Ep 99-105 - Garlic Jr.
Disc 16 - Ep 106-112 - Kami
Disc 17 - Ep 113-119 - Trunks
Disc 18 - Ep 120-126 - Chi Chi
I thought the same thing but in the end, I realized 2nd Form Freeza had to be there, because your list would defeat the entire purpose.

On Your List, Garlic Jr. Appears on the disc BEFORE he actually appears in the show, God appears appropriately enough, but Trunks' Disc will only feature one episode of Trunks Doing anything.

On My List, Freeza and Super Saiyan Son appear on the discs where they are relevant, Garlic Jr. and God appear on the Two Garlic Jr. Discs, and Trunks Appears pretty much during the entire duration of the Set where Trunks is most relevant.

And for the people asking about Freeza on DBoxZ3, we predicted that would be who would appear so I made a Mockup of a Freeza DBoxZ3.
The image of the Ad for the DBox3 featuring Freeza somewhat comfirms it, although it IS possible they'll change it, it wouldn't be very SMART to change it. If they change it, then they've lost the point by which Freeza is relevant at all, Since Trunks will have killed him by the boxed Set's end.

Also, for anyone who wanted it.

Spines look much better out of the box. I bet when they are all released, we'll be able to get one big box to put them all in, solving this spine issue.

Got my DBox2 on Saturday and watched a few episodes. Man, that filler that bridges the two Dragonboxes is just awful. Otherwise, seems to be the exact quality as the first Dbox.

Nope, there isn't a timeline.

Wasn't this set covered in the first Time Line anyway? I'm sure we'll see more...

No, that was the other set. This set was covered in the alternate future timeline after Trunks obliterated the Season Set Blu-Rays.

Awesome! Spines look way better out of the box. Looks like I'm gonna have to keep them like that.

in a way, I envy all of you getting your DVDs now...
Due to the economy, I lost my job recently, so I've added DBox 2 to the same order as the new One Piece DVD to save on shipping, so I wont get it till end of February...

You lucky, lucky people...

Very nice, now that we've compared to the FUNi singles, I can really see the significant difference in overall picture gain/colors. I originally thought that the DBoxes weren't all that much better than the FUNi singles.

I'll probably get both Dbox 2 and DB Season 3 once my tax return comes in.
Nothing matters (in a cosmic sense.) Have a good time.

In a way, I have to thank FUNimation for making the season sets so horrible. Otherwise, I would have gotten all of them and might have been more hesitant to repurchase the series in Dragon Box form. Had it just been the colors and DVNR without the widescreen, I might have considered it "good enough." Patience (for the most part since I caved and got the first two a year after they'd been out) pays off!

Got my Dragon Box 2 on Saturday. Finished the first disc so far and I'm quite surprised that Dragon Ball Kai covers all this material in 21 episodes vs. the 42 that I'm looking at....Well, it's not surprising really, I'm just comparing both views. Despite that, I still prefer the original largely due to Kikuchi's score at work. There's this one particular piece that I really thought was well put. The scene where Vegeta's closing in on Kuririn and Son Gohan's ki in Episode 50. The fear is really enhanced by that piece. Sometimes it does feel like a drag having to watch through material I've already watched via Kai. I often try not to spoil myself, but I can't help it for comparison sakes. Not to mention the next Dragon Box won't be released till May, by that time Kai will already be airing the Cell arc.

Really happy with this one compared to the first.

Glue on the bottom is fine & the book and dvd's come out easy.

Yes, I just received mine in the mail today.

Bottom is good, cases come out nicely. Currently watching the 2nd episode of the first disc.

The quality, impeccable!

Another great release.

I think Tom Dubois of "The Boondocks" said it best for me when FUNimation announced the release of the domestic Dragonbox, after buying all of the Season Sets: "MOTHERFUCK!!! SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT, PRICKS, SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIIIIIIIT!"

Mine arrived today and it looks beautiful compared to the Season Sets. If you have the money buy this.

I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.
