Oh yeah, that moment was really breathtaking.
Kind of ironic also if you come to think about it - a dead person notifying the living that their loved ones are now dead too. :/

And one of them isn't dead either  .
Actions have reactions so don't be quick to judge, you may not know the hardships that people don't speak of.

Well, they (and we as an audience at the time) didn't know that. :P

You could be right, I haven't seen the Buu arc for quite some time now. That's going to change with the DBOXes.
Well, at least the guys from the anime didn't know what we did.

I always thought the episode when Goku meets Gotenks at the tournament was emotional also when he his visiting time is up.

OMG of-course when Goku flies away on the last episode of DBZ!

Huh? I thought that the only time Goku had actually met Gotenks was in that bath scene after the Buu arc...

I would assume that the "ks" was a typo and s/he meant Goten.

the_abberration wrote:The scene in the original Dragonball series where Krillin is killed.

In the manga, he goes off to get the Dragonball and the Nyoibo staff for Goku. Goku and the others hear him scream and find him dead.

In the anime, when Krillin goes to recover the items, Goku stops him and he (along with everyone else) give him this long stare (as if to foreshadow something is about to happen). The whole time Krillin is gone, Goku is distracted and "not hungry". Then finally Goku just "knows" something has happened to Krillin, which is symbolized by the shattering of the glass, time freezing, hearing Krillin call his name in his mind.

I just loved the way, the anime was able to convey the bond between Goku and Krillin in that scene so deeply, and in such a way that you (or at least I) may not get from just reading it.
This. I just saw this episode for the first time yesterday, and this is one of the few scenes in Dragon Ball that actually moved me to emotion.
It's been done countless times before, but...
