Advance Adventure gameplay, but with LoG RPG-ness? That would be fun.

Attack of the Saiyans gameplay and battle style with Chou Saiya Densetsu's ability to change canon. Jst lower the encounter rate and I'm good.

This may have been said already, but Sagas done *right*.

Or Dragon Ball Online for home consoles. :P
Next quest: Buy the Super: Broly and Super Hero Blurays, also Daima whenever that releases in the states. Also the Super Manga!

Fan of Dragon Ball Z and various other Anime since '98! ^^

A serious fighter with Dragon Ball characters (no Z or GT), with an extremely deep Budokai fighting system (as deep as Tekken, SC, VF, DOA, etc.)
Start from the beginning of DB the Piccolo Jr. saga.
Roster:

Kid Goku
Kid Krillin
Master Roshi (Young Roshi & Jackie can be costumes.)
Yamcha
Tien
Tao
Cyborg Tao
Blue
Chioatzu
Kami
King Piccolo
Piccolo
Crane Hermit
Murasaki
Master Mutaito
Android 8
Major Metalitron
Pilaf
Yajirobe
Drum
Tambourine
Cymbal
Nam
King Choppa
Adult Goku
Adult Krillin
Mr. Satan (however old he was back then)
Videl (she'd fit in)
Kid ChiChi
Adult ChiChi
Ox King

Sorry for the long roster.

You'd need a smaller starting roster for a 'serious' fighter like that. Something in the 12 to 20 range (ala SDBZ).

Speaking of SDBZ, I've been recently wishing for an SDBZ2 with only a slightly larger cast. Adding in only Tao, Yamcha, Tien, Recome, Gero, Satan, Kaioshin, Super Buu, and Vegetto.

I mean, they can still use the Budokai system. Just add in crouching, jumping, rear/side/wall throws, more combos etc.. The basics are already there, just put in the traditional stuff.

At this point, the only game I'd truly kill for is a combination of Budokai 3 fused with Ultimate Butouden with the graphics of Burst Limit.

For me? I don't care if the game goes Budokai or Tenkaichi fighting style, but I would like it to have the game board like story mode from Budokai 2 with more wacky interactions and what-ifs and and expansion on the mini-game section. Inshort a spiritual successor to Budokai 2. Yes Budokai 3 is better in many ways but Budokai 2 remains my fav DBZ period.

Budokai 3 with Burst Limit's graphics and a combined roster from Meteor, Heroes, and RB2.

Fighting game number 402323234567
Oh, you think the Grand Tour is your ally, you merely stepped into the Grand Tour. I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn’t see the Super until I was already a man; by then, it was nothing to me but blinding!

Well, it is a comic book/show about fighting.

The fact that DBZ vs. Capcom will never happen is the biggest tragedy in human history.

Heck, just any Capcom made DBZ fighting game in general would be acceptable. I don't know much about Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, but even I can tell that the Capcom game perfectly captures the essence of the show and provides for deep, engaging gameplay while properly presenting the key elements of the show. If they applied that same kind of care to a DBZ game, it would be amazing.
