Thanks...

So, Alias, is that the one you had? Or is yours different?

Or... <gasp> are you the same person?

Same person.

That's not the one I had, mine is from before the rumors of a new series started. I had volume 1, which centered around Vegeta and the Ginyu Tokusentai. There are a few different doujinshis named AF, none of them from recent years. The one that's pictured appears to be one of the books that was based off of the rumors that were flying at the time. there are some fanartists that have made mangas based off of the AF rumors. I'm at a school computer now, so I can't post anything. When I get home I'll post the AF cover.

I've got the DF translations on a CD as .txt files. I'll edit one or two of the books in Photoshop and try to post it somewhere. I'll probably put up the "Vietnamek is about to E.X.P.L.O.D.E" book, not sure which volume number that it. I can't do it tonight, since I have about six hours worth of Piano to practice, and I can't do it tomorrow since I've got a lot of work to do. I'll probably have a book up the day after that.

Alright, I guess I'm done with DF, then. I've kinda got better things to do, anyway... Just get it up somewhere, alright? Even just mark your name on it and see if there's any existing sites you want to see if you can put it up at.

Yeah, that was actually one of the better things to do. Well, weapon practice anyway.

Interesting picture...

So, they're not from the same thing. I guess that if there is a real AF, that picture is it, huh? Before the rumors. Must be pretty old, heh heh...

Alias wrote:No! You can't translate Dragon Fall! I've been working on that series for the last six months, translating it from Spanish to English! I even had to go through all the stinkin' trouble of begging a site for permission to use their scans on my site! I've got almost every single book on my computer (though some I won't be doing due to rather... perverse parts). No! *bawls* This is MY original idea! Mine, do you hear!?

As for AF... There's a non-hentai Doujinshi with that title, and an almost identical style to Toriyama's. If you guys want, I can post a scan of the cover (I don't own the Doujinshi anymore). And no, it doesn't feature any SSJ 5, 6, 7, or beyond.
Would you mind telling us where you bought this AF doujinshi?

Hmm... so, so far, we've proof of two different AF mangas.

First, there's the AF which I have read nearly the entire series of, which takes place if GT had never existed (despite the fact that Pan looks like she does in GT, and SS4 looks like GT's...). It includes all sorts of goofy levels (SS5, Golden Oozaru Gohan, et cetera), and was even turned into an anime released through the underground on video (It's utter crap, though... this is why some of the images you see of AF look like they're just edited images of the show, because all they did was recolor and redesign existing cels from the anime... however, there's still a lot of fake crap on AF out there...)

Then there's this one, which has recently surfaced, of Vegeta and the Ginyu Force. Is this the original AF? Is there really, truly an "original" AF per say? Or is AF just the grand masse title for nosebleeding fanboys/girls in Japan who obsess over DBZ and have the skills to write doujinshii?

I bought it at a swap meet/flea market/baazar, it was a part of a massive stack of anime Doujinshi. I haven't seen another one for sale since.

I can't remember what year the Doujnshi was made, but it was certainly well before the AF rumors started over here. In Japan a lot of Doujinshi use acronyms, and AF isn't anything special. There aren't any rumors on any of the Japanese sites about a new series, AF or otherwise.

It's a collection of manga by popular doujinshii-ka. Some of them I've read within the pages include a Kinnikuman comic set in the year 3000, a manga about Yusuke Urameshi's son, and something about Tenchi that I didn't understand...

I don't know why people are so obsessed with AF, though. There are much better doujinshii out there. Point in case: http://www.plotsntombstones.com/Hobnuda/, Dragon Ball HC.

Af is important because it's the famous rumored sequel anime/manga.
