What exactly is Hoshi ,and what are it's origons

If I remember correctly, some idiot added Hoshi to the Dragon Ball Wikipedia article, and here we are today.

Damn today someone tried to tell my friend that there was a new series coming called oshi he pronounced it without the h, I tried to convince him that it wasn't real, but he didn't believe me he saw the Video and said everything on here is all lies and that this girl at our school who can read and write japanese told him.(I was going to talk to that chick about japanese dragon ball, but if they believe that whats the point)

He also said the person who originally designed dragon ball was a girl and Toriyama just copied it from her, and GT was made by americans ,and it was designed by the girl he copied off off of .Also Toriyama didn't have anything to do with GT. UUGGGGHH

That's one of the clips that's side-by-side another clip where the game for the participants was to spot the differences. It would be things like (and I don't remember exactly, so don't quote me on these being the actual examples) someone's clothes being a different color, wearing a hat in one and not the other, etc.

I definitely think it should. but I think it's about as relevant as AF was. I remember seeing pictures like this

A long time ago the only way I could get on the internet was at school and I used to sneak and look at those kinds of pictures thinking ''Wow this looks cool! when is this coming out?'' then I later realized that AF was fake but if Hoshi is going to be put into the Rumor guide, I think there should be explanations of what footage and game intros ect the people used to fool everyone. just in case someone who believes that hoshi is real will look and say ''huh I can't believe I was lied too'' just my 2 cents

Hey guys. I just saw this post and felt like chiming in. I wrote these two articles months ago on Dragon Ball Hoshi and Dragon Ball AF, explaining them away:

I suppose those are my attempts at "getting rid" of Dragon Ball Hoshi.

Interestingly enough the Dragon Ball Hoshi article is the most popular post on the site, receiving over 1,000 visits a day, while others only get a fraction of it (no matter how interesting I think the others are ).

If you read the article and then the comments below you'll see that there are a LOT of Dragon Ball fans looking forward to a new series. Even a couple of people who called me a jerk and a liar, despite using perfectly clear logic and examples.

Several people said they would prefer to have believed the lie, rather than know the truth. I told them they can gladly plug back into the Matrix if they want to, but it's my responsibility to be honest with the fans all the same, so too bad!

Maybe if there were more articles like this out there, the Hoshi rumor would die.

Also, every one of those videos linked to in your "Hoshi" article have had embedding disabled.
