Why are you already getting to incredibly condescending and mean-spirited towards people? It's only four pages and the first day of the news. Let's at least try to pretend this is still the correct forum you're posting on. :(

It's retarded. They are fucking Demon Clansmen, and they call them "Spice Boys"?! It's so ridiculous, it's not even funny. Big Green was enough.

Fool us once? Shame on you
Fool us twice? Shame on us
Fool us thrice? I can't
Fool us quince? No, no, no, no, no, no

I honestly don't know how any of you guys can be hyped for this. This studio has had 3 tries and struck out this generation.

Personally, because there seems to be a chance for it to be the last one and they're going for the one game from them that I had fun with. It's more "moderate enthuse with slight dread" than hype for me :P

But yeah, I'm aware that even then there's a huge chance they'll still mess it up  (and if they do, it might be a bargain bin purchase)

I think they are just re branding Ultimate Tenkaichi 2 into something more familiar. When people saw UT title many thought they were going back to the old ps2 gameplay formula only to find out it was even more simpler than that. And like with the Tenkaichi series they are using character amounts as a selling point. My main thing is gameplay at this point.

Other than that, this could by the IW of the Tenkaichi series only with maybe more hype(going off of Gamefaqs responses to it back in the day when everyone bashed it as a last minute cash-in attempt on Budokai 4 hopefuls.

Actually to be honest, I think I only truly want adult EoZ Goten. I don't think he has ever been in a game, if I recall correctly.

The only things that matters for me are the number of characters, now how much I will enjoy the game, I'll first try it out and decide. We will obviously get the same story, maybe a less crappy Character Creator, a Raging Blast similar gameplay, and graphics that again will not be faithful to the anime. We have gotten used to it, so what the hell? Just give me a shitload of characters to have unlimited variations, and I'm fine! :)

And BTW, since this is the final Sparking/Budokai, could this mean that it is the final Spike game too?

You know what? You're absolutely right. I'll just keep quiet until we know more about the game. I only wanted to add that I don't believe they will be giving us much "new characters" and that they'll probably revamp the old models they've already have. Then I started seeing the huge lists of random characters like back in the day and I immediately started cringing. I'm sorry for my behaviour.

Cause this game ends up as a fanservice game and a DBZ-simulator, gimme my Majin Ozotto.
I don't expect a great engine for his game, even not great graphics. This game will be only fodder and a quick cashin for Spike and NB...

DB Xenoverse is not a DBZ simulator with fighting elements, it's a semi competent fighting/action game with DBZ simulation elements.

Not saying this won't be better than what we've gotten this generation, but this isn't really what I wanted at all. Maybe I will get this game, simply for the sake of it; since who's to say it may not be 'fun'? One things for sure, after this game I'm definitely done, I've already wasted way too much time.

Who would have though that a franchise that granted me so much happiness as a child could give me so much pain. Imagine, in another a universe somewhere, parallel to our own, DBZ games were actually good; why are we so unlucky...?
Burst Limit still stands out as the best DBZ game of this current gen, at least for me, obviously.

Solid gameplay, sorry, what the hell? This is Spike, there's no solid gameplay whatsoever.

This is the true sequel to Sparking friggin METEOR and their last game. Rest assured, they're going all out. The main reason people were disappointed by this gen's DB was because people were expecting that fast-paced Sparking gameplay deepened. Pretty sure Spike's going to take the hint this time.

So the characters I expect they will be all from Sparking! METEOR & Raging Blast 2, but with Goku (Early), (Mid) & (End), Piccolo (Early) & (End), and Vegeta & Vegeta (Second Form) to be just Goku, Piccolo & Vegeta, as they were in Raging Bast. As for gameplay, I expect the Raging Blast 2 engine with some improvements. I also expect another ~30 minutes OVA or cutscenes.
As for what I wish for?

Other characters I want in are:

From DB:
Kuririn (Kid)
Cymbal
Drum
Black (in Battle Jacket)
Black (10th anniversary Battle Jacket)
Blue (10th anniversary costume)
Taopaipai (M3 costume)
Tsuru Sennin (both manga & M3 costumes)
Gurumes
Lucifer

From DBZ:
All movie henchmen
Bio-Broli
Abo
Kado
Aka
Hildegarn (First Form)
Pseudo Super Saiyan Goku
SSJ Bardock
Chilled

From GT:
GT Vegeta (base, SSJ)
GT Trunks (base, SSJ, EoZ alternative costume)
GT Goten (base, SSJ, EoZ alternative costume)
Rild (all 3 forms)
Super Sigma Cannon* (all four members, individual & combined)
Redgic
Llod (normal & full power)
All of the Evil Dragons (along with their transformations)
Dr. Myu
Goku Jr. (base, SSJ)
Vegeta Jr. (base, SSJ)

From Dr. Slump & Neko Majin:
Obochaman
Z (base, Super Neko Majin)
Kuriza (normal, True Form)
Onio (base, SSJ)

What Ifs:
Hatchiyack (Super & Giant)
Future Trunks (SSJ2 & SSJ3)
Future Gohan (SSJ2, Ultimate)
GT Trunks (SSJ3)
Majin Boo (Evil - Tenshinhan & Yamcha/Freeza/Cell/Vegeta/Piccolo absorbed)
Gotan
Yamhan
Cell (Kuririn absorbed)
Majin Ozzoto
Pan (SSJ)
GT Gotenks (base, SSJ, SSJ3)
Vegetto (Super Saiyan 4)

A Character Creator based on DBO & DBH races, genders & other elements.
Cool What-If Stories.

*Is that how they are called in the Japanese version?

It's going to be a larger roster of characters, but realistically, I can't see them putting more than 20-30 more than we have already gotten, altogether that is, and maybe one or two we have never seen. Ima be the guy and say SUPERMAN should be in the game. Sadly, these long ass lists you guys come up with with fan wishes, I doubt half those characters will be considered, let alone included. Hope for the best though. I don't know if you guys are familiar with Nostal/Treevax, I like where he's going as far as ideas.

GT Vegeta and GT Trunks can just be costumes (so can GT Gohan).

Let's see:
Vegeta Jr - SSJ
Goku Jr - SSJ
Kid Vegeta
SSJ Bardock
SSJ Turles
Pui Pui
Yakon
Yamu
Teincha
Ledgic
Rildo
Ninja Murasaki
Super 18 8)
SSJ4 Vegito
Kami

If this is their last outting with the Sparking! games they should hit GT and the movies and hit them pretty hard. All 7 dragons and everyone's GT forms would be great for the full timeline finally, and especially if they go the cutscene route. There were some great scenes I'd love to see covered from GT and especially some of the newer animation like Bardock and the Jump special.

Lets not go over board with everyone and their grandma being a super saiyan but I don't mind a few what-ifs thrown into the mix as well.

But didn't Spike give up on DBZ (or vice-versa, Idk)?

Anyway, I will not like the bullshit that'll happen. I may like more characters, but I just don't want to see more AF bullshit that happened on Ultimate Tenkaichi.

About the gameplay, that varies from player, so I leave it be. However, I would like to see the characters more customizable, like What moves you want to put on Goku or any other character of the cast (Like it was in Budokai 3 or Infinite World, which you can decide the Ultimate, the Death Move, etc) it would make more appealing to not only buff your character with potaras that gives "magical steroids" but the moves that would combine with it. And some attacks only go for X character form.

For example, list for Ultimate Moves for Goku

Spirit Bomb
Giga Kamehameha (Or anything that isn't "Super" would fit better)
Super Spirit Bomb
Super Kaioken
Dragon Fist
Super Dragon Fist

And you can put them on any transformation of the character you want, however, few of them can only be assigned to X transformation like:

Super Kaioken (SSj2 Goku only)
Dragon fist (SSj3 Goku or SSj4 Goku only)
Giga Kamehameha (SSj2,SSj3 or SSj4 Goku only)
Super Spirit Bomb (Base form only)
Spirit Bomb (Base and SSj form only)

And that's that. Since they would make huge contradictions on the plot, I just listed as mere examples.

Dragon Ball Cycle in full effect. I'm fairly certain these were the kind of promises we got with UT.
