If by uncut TV series (ie, the DVDs), then yes, it's Mr Satan. If you mean game...I didn't think there was an "uncut" version.

The European version keep the name "Mr Satan", even though they use the FUNi names for everyone else.

Yeah, I was referring to the DVDs. ^^; And I got a GT one recently (the one with the eps where Hell splits open) and watched a scene every now and then. I'm surprised they pronounce Satan as the actual English word..

Well I just got Jump issue 17 in the mail, and Trunks uses the word "hell" so perhaps we no longer have to worry about a new era of censorship.

Hey!!! I was on my week vacation, so if you're just going to take it away like that, it's like I never had it in the first place.

I'm really, really sorry for off-topicking a sticky. Really.

Well I picked up the graphic novel edition today, and sure enough "Inferno Blast" remained.

Though we have seen Hell used since then in the Jump printings, so it's difficult to figure out the motivation behind the change.

Does US Shonen Jump have a letters page?

They used to, but I've noticed that it hasn't been in the issues consistently as of late. Hmmmmmm....

They don't seem to print it in every issue, but the address is:

Maybe it's just me, but the letters that do get printed, I get the distinct feeling they are fakes.

Speaking of Shonen Jump, they chose to just refund my subscription rather than mail me the magazines after I e-mailed a complaint that I haven't been receiving them. O_o

I'm going to just buy One Piece, Naruto and possibly Shaman King GNs instead. I was going to buy Naruto and probably One Piece too, anyway, but had no intention of getting Shaman King since I'd be getting it in SJ mags. So what's your suggestion? Is Shaman King manga worth it?

I'm not sure. I'm following it like you in SJ, so I don't know if it gets boring later on or not. I know everybody says the anime eventually gets boring and redundent, but that might not be the case with the manga. I'm still enjoying it at this point at any rate. Personally, I think the better ones to collect are One Piece and Naruto, especially One Piece! There's just no excuse to give up on that one in my opinion. 8)

I'll admit, I kinda cheated and read scanslations, but.. From what I read, and avoiding spoilers, the Shaman Fight has a rather surprising ending and there's a nice emotional story with Anna. And it shows how Anna and Yoh met. "Get out of my way or I'll kill you."

So it doesn't seem boring to me.

Excellent. Thank you B-kun. Even though I've been watching the crappy dub of Shaman King, I've really been enjoying it (and haven't seen original). Now I'm really stoked about getting the manga.

The reason I was unsure is because I also collect american comics (Uncanny X-Men, New X-Men, Superman titles (Godfall saga ROCKED), Superman/Batman (Original S-girl, Kara Zor-El is alive?! WHAAAAA?!) and Exiles (Blink is my Pink Skinned Goddess. TJ's my blue one. ^_^)). Makes for quite a bit of cash to lose when added to One Piece and Naruto.
Especially when waiting for FUNi to release DBGT DVD box sets and DBZ movies.

And Joss Whedon is going to be writing for X-Men soon. Damnit, that means I'll have to start buying it again.

I should really pay attention to who the writers and artists are. After Madureira left Uncanny (his Gambit was the shit. His Blink made me think unclean things) I haven't had the slightest(sp?) idea as to who's been doing what. Is Joss Whedon good?

Speaking of Mad, you wouldn't happen to know where I could find a pic of Gambit as the FF8 guy fighting Sabertooth as...I'm assuming a villain from FF8?
