I would personally love a PROPER budokai 4 or some type of 2d dimps game. its way overdue.

People complain about the games being to similar to past games. Yet they want Budokai 4 or Tenkaichi 4.budokaifanatic007 wrote:I would personally love a PROPER budokai 4 or some type of 2d dimps game. its way overdue.

It's like the Sonic fanbase, no matter what you do they will complain.

I still debate whether the Sonic fanbase or the *unmentionable fanbase that shows up if you mention a certain show and floods everything*ringworm128 wrote:It's like the Sonic fanbase, no matter what you do they will complain.
Anyways I would like lots and lots of spin off OVA's that don't include Goku. Maybe some shorts at the very least.

Maybe they mean it in terms of overall quality, and not structurally. Which is to say that the games have been crappy rehashes, bringing forth no new ideas (or poorly executed ones) for the past few years.TheGmGoken wrote:People complain about the games being to similar to past games. "Over saturation is easy. Just drag the slider to the right and there you are: instant interest. And certainly, the majority of the public likes saturated color images. In fact, if you want to quickly create a popular image, simply over saturate the colors and increase the contrast. While you may not achieve a sophisticated image, you will achieve an image that will please a less demanding audience." - Alain Briot

Hell, a piece of Dragon Ball media where Gogeta or Vegetto ever lose a fight.

Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

Gogeta looses.

Video games don't really count. Otherwise I got my wish every time I beat up Gogeta as Raditz in Tenkaichi 3.

I think the stories of video games should count somewhat, but that example probably isn't a good one because it adds another victory to Gogeta and Vegetto at the same time. But the first Tenkaichi game had a story where Super 17 (I think) defeats SS4 Gogeta, and I think another one where Cooler defeats Super Gogeta.RandomGuy96 wrote:Video games don't really count. I'm not sure that counts either, since it also has SS4 Gogeta lose to... Baby Vegeta
