That's not what you said. You literally said "all main villains started out looking weak". Which is wrong, Cell and King Piccolo looked quite strong.
I still think Cell and King Piccolo looked weak at first in comparison to Goku and co.
Also, Toriyama can be wrong.
Blasphemy! I will hear no more from you
So Nappa looked like he outmatched Goku more than Piccolo looked like he outmatched Goku?
Yeah, he looked like a formidable opponent at first.

Both of them looked demonic and evil, absolutely towered over Goku and co, and Imperfect Cell even had a stinger tail he used to eat your soul. What counts as threatening in your book?
Yeah, he looked like a formidable opponent at first.
And King "my fist is bigger than your torso" Piccolo didn't?

He's probably referring to the Bardock special. Zarbon was the one who first recommended destroying Planet Vegeta because the saiyans were rapidly growing in strength.
It was actually Beerus disguised as Zarbon #StayWoke
Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

I get the feeling this is going abit off topic. This is about possible other Hakaishin, not whether or not King Piccolo is scary.

You know, thinking on it, King Piccolo would make a pretty good God of Destruction. Especially his older self.

Now multiply his power by 500k and he may be able to remain a threat at that point.

Doing so would still make him weaker than SS Goku on Namek.

I don't care about his power. I'm just talking about the character and his design. Let's play up the "Evil Kami" role to the extreme.

You know, when the BOG rumor mill was still swirling, I initially thought Beerus was the Guardian of Earth before Kami, and returned, fed up with how much damage and death the earth had seen since stepping down.

I thought he was an Egyptian king who was awaken. And Whis was a female who he loved..
True story.

Well, how can someone be wrong when this subject is entirely based on someone's opinion? Cell & Daimao look strong to you & others, but they may not look strong to others.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

So then everyone else agrees the 6th god(dess) of destruction is the strongest from that picture like I speculated?

I would like an intelligent, more powerful version of Janemba with more basis on his reality warping/dimensional/transmutation powers.

I don't want to see gods that have god like powers like create universes and blow up galaxies with their hands. Fan wank bullshit like that would make me stop liking DB forever.

I don't care what they look like, just so long as the rumors are true and we get another Dragon Ball Z manga run/ anime saga.

I think another movie based on the other universes is likely to happen then another series. We are getting the Buu saga of Kai maybe next year, so another show won't happen for another few years at least. I think a BOG trilogy could be cool and have a new movie once every two years.

I've pictured one of the God's being a bulked up Rhino dude. And another being a slim Cheetah like dude, who for the record stands upright. Made a fanfic of Vegetto coming back after Rhino dude invades Earth.

If they go with a lizard design, I always imagine a design similar to Reptile's design from MK4.

What? Dragon Ball has never had "gods that have god like powers like create universes and blow up galaxies with their hands."
And the Journey to the West references kinda stopped after a while. Dragon Ball stopped "imitating" the story pretty early on.
