I agree, but consider that the arcade version of heroes is japan only, and that they should translate something like 2000+ cards...I think that's whyRukura wrote:In a world where Harukanaru Goku Densetsu got a western release, THIS needs a western release. Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2" (JP 3DS)
The New 3DS is out and that right there is a new opportunity for Bandai Namco to release a Dragon Ball game on the New 3DS, of course this'd meant Standard 3DS owners couldn't but still better than nothing.
I can't believe that Bandai's been ditching the western fanbase for 3DS DB games even though the DS had some strangely named DBZ games that probably sold like shit.

The market for DBZ card games in recent history has been shit. HGD sold poorly and the last two TCG from 2005 - 2008 didn't do that great neither. Unless they do a Dragon Ball Heroes anime and dub it then I don't see any of the Heroes games coming out in the US.

Is someone tracking the QR and serial codes (if any) that are released to unlock missions and stuff in the game? Could people post that information here for those of us that own the game?
Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2" (JP 3DS)
I like a opinion do you guys think is worthy buy this game and a japanese 3ds?
Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2" (JP 3DS)
It's a repetitive game but you get a LOT of cards, almost EVERY character in the history of dragon ball. Also, Youkai Watch 1 & 2 are very good reason to buy a japanese 3ds, inazuma eleven go series too if you like the series.Dicrypter wrote:I like a opinion do you guys think is worthy buy this game and a japanese 3ds?
I've a question: I'm dropping some double card recently (card I already had), is it normal??

Hi people!
Sorry about this post, it's repeated from the heroes thread, but I guess here it's more appropiate.
To the one asking about buying a japanese 3DS for this games, my recommendation; YES! it's really awesome! I'm in love.
I've no idea where to find information about this games at least in an roman language. I bought recently the japanese 3DS with both Heroes Ultimate Mission and they're awesome. I just can't stop playing, it's very addictive and very fun, but there's a couple of things I don't know, maybe someone with this games could lend me a hand?
The first I don't understand, and this happens in UM1 & UM2, it's why I just can't use a single card. The CPU ALWAYS summons Yamcha & Krillin to fight at my side, and they're both CPU controlled.
I guess this it's just one limitation from the arcade, like "3 fighters minimum", right? No way to use just one character? What i'm doing it's just move the other characters to the "rest area",at least I can use the HP from the team. Just for "story" based missions.
The second, how can I transform my avatar card in Super Saiyan?
By the way, I repeat, the 3DS are really awesome games! I don't understand a single word of japanese and I can play with no problems.
Thanks in advance, and congratulations for this awesome Dragon Ball community.

Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2" (JP 3DS)
I see there's no many people out there with this game, and it's sad.
I highly recommend this games. I just played more Heroes in one week that I played last Dragon Ball titles (Ultimate Tenkaichi,Battle of Z). It's freaking awesome, really addictive and the "grinding factor" that comes with the new cards you get after each combat it's amazing.
The only downside it's that you can't do 1 vs 1 battles. A custom versus mode (vs cpu) where you can choose cards and strenght it would be great, but I guess the engine isn't mean to be played that way. All I can do now it's to choose characters from the same arc and use them as "strikers" to help the main character. As they don't attack unless you command them, they don't do nothing and you have to make good use of your main character energy. Well, it's not a genuine 1 vs 1 but it works much better that the crappy Battle of Z.
And I'm still playing the Dragon Ball Heroes (1). When I finish the story mode, I'll move into Heroes 2. I saw that the graphics are smooth and much better, and the universe mode it's seems different with that map.
Well, another time, I highly recommend this games. Thanks for reading.

If you play the game then how easy is the game to play if you don't know Japanese?

Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2" (JP 3DS)
I was a little worried about this too because I read in some reviews that the Heroes games wasn't import friendly. Well it's true that I don't know most of the abilities, but that's because I really didn't need to know. I'm at the end of the Universe mode in Heroes 1 and I already know everything I need. If you want to depth-in the card description, in Gamefaqs you've a card translation with abilities. It's a really impressive work.Hellspawn28 wrote:If you play the game then how easy is the game to play if you don't know Japanese?
The game itself it's VERY easy to understand, and as more you play more you understand (and enjoy)
I know it's expensive to buy a japanese 3ds, all i'm saying it's that in my opinion it worth it. I think it's one of the best Dragon Ball games I've played so far, almost so good that "Legendary Superwarriors" from Game Boy Color.Zombie wrote: I would have loved to play Heroes but they didn't fucking bring them here.

I don't understand a single word of japanese and I'm enjoying this game. The game system it's VERY easy, and the Ki and ultimate meters are very visual. The story mode it's exactly the Dragon Ball history, so the "cutscenes" (very cheap, indeed) are too very easy to understandZombie wrote:I can't understand Japanese. No thanks. I have the rule to not buy a game that is not from my territory, no matter how simple the game is.
It's English or nothing.

Well, I really don't care about language when we're talking about imported games. I've a few importation titles like the Onechanbara series or some great Dragon Ball games like Legends or Kai Butouden that you should take a look because there are some of the most fun games from the series.Zombie wrote:No thanks. Specially Dragon Ball Legends, it's in my opinion the BEST Dragon Ball game and one of my favorite videogame from all times

Are there any translation guides for UM1 and UM2? The only thing google pulled up is a translation of the wishes.
Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2" (JP 3DS)
I don't have any of the games, so I'm not sure how useful this may be:
http://www.gamefaqs.com/3ds/778834-drag ... faqs/69775
I think the last pages have translations of the card abilities, but it just translated the abilities themselves, you'll have to check each card individually if it has the translated text.
It also has a walkthrough about how to play the game.

That guide it's awesome.
When I need some advanced deck build (the special missions are REALLY HARD) thanks that guide I'm able to do it. You can spend hours just building your 5-hero cards, it's great
I'm still playing and still thinking it's one of the best DBZ games.

Does anyone know what all of the badge stats are for?

HP is obvious, I'm guessing P and G are Power and Guard, but I have no idea what S, EX, and the other one are for.
