Re: DBZ Kai coming to Toonami
If DBZ Kai does replace Bleach then at earliest we can expect its debut is on November 8

Yup, November 8th. Uncut, too. That was nice of 'em!
I feel sorry for Bleach fans, as Toonami confirmed in that link that it'll be replacing Bleach, but I guess that was expected.

A "rather haggard" translation of a line from Future Gohan in DBZ, provided to FUNimation by Toei:
"To think of fighting that is this fun...so, it was pleasant fight, as many as, therefore is a feeling which is good the fight where."

Re: DBZ Kai coming to Toonami
Ah cool! I read the manga of Bleach so I don't really care that much. I am kind of sad that Vortex has ended to be honest. At least they had some good shows like Dragon Ball Z Kai and Spectacular Spider-Man. They got replaced by a stupid program that no one wants to watch.
Side Note: I wonder if Toonami having Dragon Ball Z Kai has something to do with Vortex...

Bleach had eight years on the block. It isn't as if its run is in vain.
I will miss Vortexx, and Saturday Morning Cartoons, too.

Great. Gave up on Bleach years ago. It's cool to watch but I won't miss it.
Re: DBZ Kai coming to Toonami
Bleach should be ending soon anyways. I wish they would get rid of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood for a while. So many other shows have come and go and then come back except for that one.

I hope they have good music placement!

Do you think we'll get a different score? Interesting how the clip is in full screen...Jackal puFF wrote:I hope they have good music placement!

What do you mean by this? It'll be the same uncut dub that's on the DVDs with the Kikuchi score.Jackal puFF wrote:I hope they have good music placement!

What? It'll be the same as the home release version (Kikuchi 1-98).Jackal puFF wrote:I hope they have good music placement!
NickToons aired them in 4x3 AR too so it's normal.sangofe wrote:Interesting how the clip is in full screen...

Re: DBZ Kai coming to Toonami
Come to think of it, I don't believe any English-language release so far of Kai , on home video or TV, has been in 16:9. That looks like it's going to change once we get to the Buu arc, but we've still got 4:3 for now.

Re: DBZ Kai coming to Toonami
Ah I see.. Well how does the Kikuchi score fit in with the saiyan part of Kai? Never seen it without the Yamamoto score.

It's more or less like you've heard from the Cell arc, the best Kikuchi scored episodes are 96 and 97.Jackal puFF wrote:Ah I see.. Well how does the Kikuchi score fit in with the saiyan part of Kai? Never seen it without the Yamamoto score.

Re: DBZ Kai coming to Toonami
It was confirmed that it will in fact be 4:3 with black bars. Well, not black bars...customized "space bars" as seen in the teaser.

Also, Bleach is ending on the 1st. No reason to feel bad for the fans.

"Raffertie - Boom Boom", but odd thing is I can't find a song by that name.dbboxkaifan wrote:What's the name of the song playing during the Toonami Kai teaser?
So is being in 4:3 a good thing or bad thing?

Re: DBZ Kai coming to Toonami
Oh yeah read that on a YouTube video, but thanks still although it is quite a shame the track's nowhere to be found, however it sounds somewhat similar to his track named Black Rainbow.goku262002 wrote:"Raffertie - Boom Boom", but odd thing is I can't find a song by that name.
It's good. It means they're actually using the original aspect ratio than cropping it to 16x9 AR.goku262002 wrote:So is being in 4:3 a good thing or bad thing?

Yeah I'm gonna ask CabooseJr. and see if he got that track right, I can't find a listing on it anywhere.dbboxkaifan wrote:Oh yeah read that on a YouTube video, but thanks still although it is quite a shame the track's nowhere to be found, however it sounds somewhat similar to his track named Black Rainbow.

Thats good. I was thinking that 4:3 was the bad aspect nobody wanted.
