"Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle" Official Discussion Thread

This week was F'ing brutal.

5 Event Characters.

I managed to get 10 King Vegetas. 2 Kid Vegetas. 50 something Bardocks. 3 Chilled and 3 Freeza. Hopefully, I can get 7 Chilled by the end of today. I highly doubt I'll be able to get Kid Vegeta and Frieza maxed out, they are just too rare

The Japanese server is going nuts! They are celebrating 20 million downloads and are giving/will give lots of bonuses, from 27th August to 15th September, including:

1 SR Goku (Angel)
1 Dragon Stone every day (maximum of 20)
1 Kaioushinkai every day
20 Training items every day (changes daily)
20 Support items
20 Awakening Medals
Larger number of Awakening Medals in the daily events

Edit: Fuck, the half Stamina and double Rank ended! And they added three more stages to the Movie 3 event, Gohan (Grandpa) event and GT Gasha.

That sounds absolutely amazing. I hope the english stuff turns out that awesome! What does SR Goku (Angel) link with?

Okay, so I have a few questions:

-When do I know I can do Z-hard in general? I can currently do hard on pretty much everything. I'm working my way through the hard mode story events and it's going pretty well aside from random brain farts where I put the wrong type to take an attack (e.g. TEQ taking an INT attack). The problem is I have yet to draw an SSR card. I have several Z-awakened SSRs but no regular SSRs after multiple pulls. I keep getting duplicate Rs or, in one case, duplicate SRs (e.g. my SSR Z awakened F.asha has a level 3 super attack). Is that normal and if so can I tackle Z hard with the right Z-awakened SSR combination?

- Will some of the character events come back? Now that I can effectively farm SR characters (I got SR PHY Piccolo Jr. and SR TEQ Mighty Mask) I would like another crack at SR Mecha Freeza and SR King Cold.

- Is there a chance the Bardock event will return? I didn't know that his awakening medals were linked to the story and now he's stuck at 40. He'd be a great addition to my current team but if I can't Z-awaken him I don't think he'd last long.

- Which is better: A group of SSRs that don't necessarily link well or a mixed group of SRs and SSRs that have decent link skills? I'd like to replace my SR Z-awakened STR Saiyan Saga Vegeta with either a stronger version of him (eg the SR AGI or SR TEQ) or just anything else but he links so well with my current mixed deck (see signature). I do have a SR TEQ Freeza second form but he's only level 24 and I'm reluctant to give him good training items if he doesn't link with anyone but first form Freeza.

BTW if anyone wants to add me as a friend my code is 780686316. I generally have my STR Freeza or AGI F.asha up (they have the same leader skill) but my main guy changes depending on if I'm farming an SR or farming awakening medals.

I think that as a whole, your team should average at about level 80 if you want to complete Z-hard without using items.

Thanks for answering my questions! It looks like I'm going to have to get lucky with some pulls or returning SR characters to build a team strong enough to do Z-hard. Hopefully I don't get bored before then.

So, is it basically confirmed if Goku is a Super Saiyan when you summon someone, it has a higher chance of being rarer?

Well, the time it happened to me, I got rarer cards for sure. I was summoning with friend points, which usually gives me crappy cards, and I got some rarer ones.

I pulled my first SSR today. I got Trunks (Xeno). I was hoping for Kaio-Ken Goku, but, just having an SSR is pretty cool.

Double post, but, Beerus and Whis are now able to be summoned! Whis is an SSR INT and Beerus is an SR TEQ. Good luck! I haven't got them, but I hope I do!

Now that I can reliable beat Z-hard without a natural SSR I'm waiting out and saving up for SSGSS Vegeta. I got him on my guaranteed SSR pull on the Japanese version and I'd love to have him on my global version as well.

I've been having a heck of a time getting all the rare drop SRs. The only ones I'm missing are SR King Cold (which I'm farming for right now) and SR King Vegeta. I'm also vying for SR AGI Freeza and SR Chilled since that event is coming back soon. I'd try for another Mecha Freeza but I spent far too many items to get him on my third Z-hard try.

Also is there a glitch with doubling up the leader passives that reduce a color's power by 25%? I knew there was something with two SR Jeice's and being able to glitch Z-hard PHY King Cold but I encountered the same glitch with Z-hard Mecha Freeza and two SR Future 17s. It was hilarious to see Mecha Freeza hit for 10 hp an attack no matter what he did.

Cold is horrible, so much HP T_T been focusing more on leveling my rank up (and team) and challenge Cold whenever I'm closer to ranking up. I have 170+ Senzu but I'm cheap and don't like using them

No. No news of them yet. People are estimating sometime within the next to months though. But that's just speculation. Even with the huge update, the characters can't be found in the skill links or other data. The good news though, TEQ R Goku on Z-hard now farmable and has a 100% drop rate!
