Re: Question about Toei's marketing motives
Forgive me for bumping this thread, but I just want to ask this question. That jpop idol group that's doing the opening for RF/FnF, what age group were they marketed to regarding Toei's decision?

Makes a movie about old and weak major villains returning, or making recolored versions of Super Saiyan, I'ma come to yo company and evict you from doing Dragon Ball ever again! Only I do those things, because people love me, and they despise you....derp!

You're wayyy too worried about these silly angel things being in the movie. Dragon Ball has silly things in it and always has. They're meant to be funny. Buu arc has buu sipping a soda during his battle with Gotenks. The afterlife has silly little puffs of clouds and what not. DB is a mix of silly with serious. Buu might do something goofy but then he might kill everyone in the next moment. Beerus may not have wiped out the entire planet, but that also wasn't his character... He wasn't a villain.EXBadguy wrote:Forgive me for bumping this thread, but I just want to ask this question. You also seem too preoccupied with what other people think. Pixar movies are made for kids but there's lots of cool stuff in there adults can like. The show is meant for all ages.
