The dialog had nothing to do with Dale Kelly, this is why i say libel/slander.

of course they will speak the same language for it to work. When did I complain about similar voices? There is a difference

Of course but as far as believing the voice some voices are less human than others

Not for me

I never contradicted myself.likewise i don't say "his laugh sounds like Krusty or Woody"

We don't know if he thinks so though

Maybe that rasp makes all the difference then
Admittedly I haven't seen much of Evolution

Was Sonny Strait really that bad as Bardock and Kuririn? Did he know how to change the voice for both of the characters?

I really like him as both these days. I could never really tell it was the same actor anyway.

Yeah, I think he was better than Phil Parsons, though I like both of their takes.

Same on Sonny Strait: never got why people hated his Krillin the most back at the time of the switch.

Was Terry Klassen really that good as Krillin?

He wasn't awful, and it was okay, but I though Terry only captured that aspect of Krillin myself- same thoughts.

He was not as bad as people say he was: Kirby lacked energy, IMO, but his voice could've worked if the direction was better.

he definitely wasnt nearly that bad, certainly not bad enough to justify a recast but that's for another thread.

Like you, I'm also not getting why Kirby sounded too "cool," yet Richard Ian Cox doesn't. Should've brought back Corlett or Kelamis instead of Ian Cox, IMHO: I can't imagine Inuyasha or Ranma as Goku unless the direction is actually good and has Richard explore his range.

I thought he was pretty bad, but still better than Terry Klassen was in the Westwood dub.

Richard Ian Cox better be twice as good as the others combined if he's replacing Kirby Morrow of all people.
I would have liked either of those two back too, maybe Ian since Peter sounds a little too young for the character except if it's young adult Goku in the original DB,

Yeah, I really think he nailed it: Ayres deserves the praise there, IMO.

If only Brian Drummond voiced Vegeta the way he did that character in Project ARMS...then I'd have a much more positive opinion on his take.

He was okay, but pretty generic.

Same here. Thank goodness he changed his voice. And I think he is at his best playing Bardock.

You do have a point there.

She was okay: not the best kid voice I've heard, but not the worst I've heard either.

Personally, I felt Sabat's Piccolo for his entire Z run came off as rough, gruff, very deep, and really forced (see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwvRU8ALAbs, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXGFShVMEnw).

While it became a little smoother and less forced in Kai, he still has moments where he grunts and stutters pretty badly (see: BoG and the Bingo Tournament) and comes off as bland and generic. Granted, he's actually tolerable as Piccolo nowadays in Kai, but I honestly don't think he's the best man for the role (and Sabat's the one I grew up with).

He was okay: I liked it more than his Vegeta... :|

Was Peter Kelamis really that good as Kid Goku? I thought he was the worst Kid Goku, tbh.
