FUNI Super dub - What are your wishes?

Anyone get the feeling Vados will be voiced by 18's VA? Or maybe Videl's?

I got the feeling she'll be voiced by Laura Bailey, Trunks's VA.

I'm thinking Stephanie Young, personally. She does Nico Robin in the One Piece dub and Arachnae in the Soul Eater dub. All she's done for DB so far is Towa in Xenoverse, and since that's a game exclusive role (as of now, at least), I don't think that'll keep them from casting her. She has a slightly deeper voice (if that's how one would describe it) that I think would work well for the character.

My money's on Stephanie Young as well. She's not really got a major Dragon Ball role yet, and the fact that she's Nico Robin in English just seems to make it fit pretty well right away. I don't have the first clue who I'd like to hear for Champa though...we need to get more with him before I can even guess.

It'd never happen unfortunately. Steve Blum and Nolan North are both union actors, and FUNi is a non-union studio, and in this age of the internet it's too risky for most big name union-based VA's to try and record for something under a false name. Not to mention, Blum doesn't seem to do quite as much anime as he used to ever since getting better established in domestic animation. Can't really blame him too much, the pay would be better.

Have Monica Rial improve her Bulma to how it was before or bring back Tiffany Vollmer. Also, bring back Stephanie Nadolny for flashbacks.

Like other folks, I hope Funi keeps the quality of the Kai dub intact, but I want one old voice actor back, and that's Linda Young as Frieza, and I mean the one from GT and the earlier games, the higher voice. I want her back or somebody similar to her, because I always thought that Frieza had an androgynous vibe to him. Though I wouldn't mind if Chris Ayres still has the role. I also wish they can find a composer to re-do the soundtrack, or call Faulconer Productions back to make an improved soundtrack. While I haven't watched Super yet, I've been hearing that Suitomo's still sucking, and I ain't taking the risk of hearing him again after the last two movies.

I hope it retains the same quality as the Kai dub, along with the same cast differences. Only ones I'm unsure about are 18 and Oolong, seeing as how they got their original VAs back for the two recent movies.

They will definitely leave the soundtrack intact. No question about it. The attitude that dubbers should be able to do whatever they want over opinion is the reason we had this practice to begin with. Keep in mind, I actually do like the US scores for Z and even GT. There is simply no reason to replace the music.

Even though it won't happen, I wish they'd dub the opening and ending themes.

I think Steven Blum should voice someone. He is good in mostly everything, but he was horrible as Goku in Final Bout (that was a long time ago though and his voice acting has improved). I could see him voicing a filler character like Galbi/Garbi (the alien who fought Mr. Satan).

I want all of the same voice actors to return, but I want new voice actors to voice new characters. Crispin Freeman should voice Champa and Kari Wahlgren should voice Vados. Robert Bruce Elliot (Ginyu's voice in Kai) will probably voice Ginyu again, but I want someone new to voice him. Maybe Steven Blum would be a good Ginyu. I want Tagoma to have the same voice actor he did in ROF, though, Micah Solusod was good. Colleen Clinkenbeard should voice Kid Goku in flashbacks (the flashback with Kid Goku and Krillin, in the episode where Goku punched Krillin).

Wish 1 = Bruce falconer- Won't happen, can we seriously just get a fan on here to put his music over super when the funi dub comes out and release the fights on yt?

Wish 2 = Hurry the hell up and dub it what the hell is taking so long licensing shouldn't be this much of a damn issue... the western fans are waiting..

It just completely baffles me that some people unironically prefer Young to Ayers.

Kelamis had one good/memorable scene and that was it, he was a pretty average Goku.

Schemmel is "pretty good", but I think Goku deserves better.

More than likely R. Bruce Elliot. I believe Armstrong retired a few years back.

All the Captain Ginyu voices sound almost exactly the same to me, I can barely tell the difference. Hasn't the dub gone through like 3 or more voices for Ginyu? And I can never tell the difference between them.

What? Young was not intimidating at all. "Pop goes the weasel!" Very scary! Her Freeza could barely put a sentence together she was a walking one liner and the granny voice is what made it even more unbearable.

that's one of the bad lines of Funi-dub i can also tell you some good ones like "You Saiyans are like a stubborn virus, and now the virus has mutated to preserve itself, but I know how to treat it! I know how to blot it out for good!"

Bad lines are not a fault of the voice actor its the fault of the script and yes her voice is intimidating precisely because it sounds like a voice of an old witch and i find witches kinda creepy sure her tone&attitude is not faithful to Freeza's character but its not as bad as fans make it out to be.

And you consider that a good line?
