I remember him from one of the big crossovers tgwtg did years and years ago, but I've never seen any of his individual episodes and it's been at least 3 years since I've even visited tgwtg's site. I'm very out of the loop on whatever is going on there. There were a few reviewers I followed out of the site, but I watch them on their own sites now. In a way the crossovers were successful, that's how I discovered the few I still watch.

I don't know why people assume another movie would have to be based on something that'll happen in Super or is something that would be adapted for Super.

I know they retold the first two movies but that was so audiences could follow it better and also to give time for Toriyama to write the Universe 6 arc.

This series has a lot of timeskips so another movie could easily take place in between two sagas of Super.

If we get a new movie while Super is airing or close to being finished then I doubt we will get a U6 movie since it would feel rather pointless. Maybe Toriyama will do a movie with Goku and Uub.

They could make a u6 movie for the same reason,for people who watched the movies to be able to follow story without having to watch the show.

It looks like they're trying to have Toriyama's new stories be available in all formats,In TV,In movies,In manga&In video games.

Toei rarely makes their movies mandatory viewing. Either they're so unimportant to the plot they ignore them in series, or they retell the information in some way (clips, characters referring to events in the movie in brief summary, or in this case, make arcs out of them).

Can anyone confirm that the word "trilogy" was used in Japanese, Spanish, or English at all in the Yamamuro interview? Because, what would that even mean? That the potential next film continues with the multi-universe/Beers material, and then any potential films after that would be completely new?

OtakuKart seem to have removed the page and the facebook page is clearly not official - using old Super Vegetto art recoloured into a SSGSS - uhhh, well, that actually sounds right for this franchise now but the page is still just fan-made.

Toei is too busy focusing on the upcoming OP movie (i doubt they would overlap production and marketing of their two biggest box office properties), while Super has just began, where Toriyama is also focusing right now. A new movie before 2017 isn't plausible at all.

I just saw a new live interview and Yamamuro confirms that there is no official announcement, it was just a comment he made regarding a personal opinion. He said he would like a new film was made.

OMG, I was just watching his stream and someone asked him about this and then he laughed and said that he's really excited about 2 DBZ things but can't talk about them yet. He's currently playing Overwatch and it should be archived when he's done.
