It's still small but thanks to Super it's been growing.
Do you have the numbers to back that up?

I don't count them but I've noticed recently there are more fans saying that GT isn't as bad as they thought.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

For those selfish reasons, I'd prefer the series to just stop before it damages itself to me than it already did. But obviously, if it even makes a penny's worth of a profit, why not continue it? Even if it was the worst garbage that ever existed, it would still probably be at least slightly profitable just because of the name and the legacy that it has. Kind of like how Power Rangers never stopped... and never will.
Power Rangers nearly ended several times because either rising production costs or declining popularity. In fact, there was a period where it was over. Yeah it's cheesy, but I enjoy Power Rangers. And as we saw with GT, name value isn't enough, viewers left and the show was forced to end. I might not be correct about that, but it's what I read.

So basically like 25 - 30 episodes a year.

That way, you would have an awesome Dragon ball series with awesome animation, art, pacing, execution, fight sequences etc.

I get that, but what does "like Dragon Ball" mean. Dragon Ball was never produced as seasons.

Well I would like it if Dragon was produced like that. It could mean, a sort of hybrid so after a while, they take a long break and put in the budget.

Post Namek Saga is what ruined the series for me.
Kinda like Sopranos after season 3.

Should have ended either after Goku defeated Piccolo jr or after the climactic battle between Goku and Frieza (both being dead, along with Vegeta).
Why would you want Goku dead at the end? That sort of ending doesn't fit Dragon Ball at all.

DBZ had an ending, it was great.
They sorta opened it up again with gt, it had an ending, it was great.

They're sorta continuing kai with super.

IDK you can basically pick where you want the series to end in your head.

It's really not that bad. Poor writing is made up for by awesome character design. Bad plot is made up for by good acting. I would just like a complete remake of Z and GT, for animation improvement and story rewrite (for the latter).

There is also that original Dragon Ball part, that comes before Z and makes up 37% of the original manga.

This quote about why DB won't get a Blu-Ray release also applies to why some fans don't take it into account while talking about certain things :
sintzu wrote:That's not because of the show itself but rather the way it's handled by the companies compared to Z, Z has always been marketed as the main franchise's product while DB has been treated as a side thing or just Goku's unimportant adventures when he was a kid.
