That's not much of a problem for me, the only long-running series' I like enough to buy are limited to a few anime. Dragon Ball, Fullmetal Alchemist, Death Note. The rest are just movies, and I only watch them once in a Blue Moon.I'm insaneFromEarth wrote:Same here, but also if I enjoy an anime a lot I love to buy them as well. but I've spent over 600 on a dbz set lolDbzfan94 wrote:Yeah, my feelings on privacy aside I just like having the physical copies that I can watch on my tv. I'm the same way about piracy. But I will say if people don't want to pay over 700 for the set download them. But they might be like me and they want the real thing with the box ect.
*sigh* Can someone just like...give me their Dragon Boxes?

Same with me, still need to get Death Note on blu ray. But the ones that I love I buy all that I can.

As someone who missed out on the initial release, and thought that they would never own a Dragon Box, I recently found a complete vol. 7 at a video game convention for $4. It is the first Box I've own and still can't believe it happened. It just goes to show that you should never give up hope; they are out there in the wild. It may take years, but just keep hitting up thrift stores, garage sales, conventions, etc. It's all about being there at the right time and luck. Miracles do happen.

For the record, Spain has multiple releases based on the Dragon Box masters.

Did they? I know Spain released their own "Dragon Box", but from what I hear, it's not the legitimate footage. But I don't know what I'm talking about, it could just be a rumor.Puto wrote:For the record, Spain has multiple releases based on the Dragon Box masters.

It's definitely based on the Japanese Dragon Box master, but the quality isn't quite as good due to having to convert it to PAL.
