I know it's been a while since this thread was active...

Awhile ? probably half the people who've posted here are in a nursing home while Steven is more than likely 6ft under. It's been longer than "awhile".

So, good news and bad news aircraftman3. I have the 'remastered' image you seek, after miraculously unearthing it within the recesses of the hard drive from my old 2005 Windows XP desktop tank (which has 250MB RAM, WTF?! My cheaper smart phone has 4GB, oh how tech has advanced). But the above thumbnail gives the illusion that the quality is higher than it really is. All I did was adjust the colours, increase sharpness, remove the crease lines and gloss (also Ranfan's bra :p). There are still remnants of the gloss that I assume my previous monitor didn't pick up, but can still be easily modified in Photoshop now by anyone. The source image was low-res IIRC, and therefore I could only 'remaster' the picture to an extent. If you want this image in it's full glory, you will have to track down an owner of the original, extra-large poster, and get them to scan it in. I would be willing to 'remaster' that one properly.

How about, we identify the significant characters not included in the poster, and then I'll add them and 'extend' the collage, to make it the SUPER-ULTIMATE DRAGONBALL IMAGE OF ALL TIME?

I literally laughed out loud! I'm glad I have achieved that scary-sounding thing. I had to use Porunga since Shenron is so not 2020 with his skinny arms.
Btw I am so happy that the poster is here again! I was pretty sure I will never dig it out from here

I tried to use the online tools that we have today for a AI upscaling of a photo and the pre-master version did so much better job in increasing its resolution 4x or even more because I also cut the whole image in parts and upscaled parts to see the difference.

I will you know? I will track him down.. I don't know whom yet but I will lol Great and thanks for being willing to do it one more time!!

Hopefully when the time comes I will be able to have it printed out and decorate my hall with it.

Anyway, thanks a lot for the image. I can't believe how many characters you can have in one picture if you try hard enough. I've looked for it in the past but could never find anything as high quality as this.

Oh really? So you had that image on your HDD all along? I'm confused as to why the resolution of my 'remastered' one is not as great as the source image found earlier in the thread (http://vanesshenron.free.fr/Images/DB_everybody.jpg), which I recently discovered was still available and assume is the version I worked off. I don't understand why I'd downscale it, but that is the only one I could find on my hard drive. Maybe there was a bigger one, but it may very well be lost to time. I'll double check my hard drive.

Just GT stuff for some reason. I remember getting this poster in 4th grade, I still have it but the bottom portion has been torn to shreds because kids cant play tag without dragging their hands across the wall.

GT stuff? Isn't this poster quite obviously featuringjust the original Dragon Ball and the Dragon Ball Z tv shows? There shouldn't be any GT on there at all So of course it would be missing :b

But the Cell Games Cameraman was missing, probably underneath that logo. Also I think pigtails Videl should've been on there and regular Super Saiyan teen Gohan as all the other forms for people seem to be there :b

Probably everyone noticed this, but I also like that you can find two sets of Dragon Balls on the poster :b

About AI upscaling:

I divided the premaster poster into 16 parts as well as lower-res remastered poster. I then upscaled both using "artwork" mode. These utilities have various modes- for photos, art work etc.

This is proginal's max zoom:

This must be due to a lower resolution and (I am not sure about that) not being grainy.. surprisingly AI reads grainy better than pretty remastered, it did create some strange drawings..

The tools I'm using also offers 8 times upscale but it's paid then, so if I decide to upscale Steve's future remaster in already high resolution then I will buy that tool for one month and upscale, then join everything in Photoshop.
