Yes... I don't know why people are focuses on the little aspects. The physical features can be fixed/altered on-screen. Acting ability cannot. If you/we/us/anybody is to have any hope the movie turns out good, the acting must be put forth first. And in Lord of the Rings, Gimli was played by an actor who is over 6 feet tall.

Heck, from the looks of the trailer for his new movie "The Warlords", his acting looked like it improved a lot. Speaking of which, I can't wait to see "The Warlords" in theatres. Gonna try to book tickets on Dec 13th. Will be in Hong Kong by then.

I wouldn't be surprised if they cast Yamcha, Grandpa Gohan, and ChiChi as 'asian' actors so that it's more obvious Goku sticks out as DIFFERENT. Besides he sort of has a Goku-type face to me. ...But seriously, what? Do you think the US is 100% Caucasians of European descent or something? Besides which, as has been pointed out, we already have a producer from Hong Kong, a Chinese-American director, and a Korean-American actor who has at least auditioned for a major role.
