I never remember seeing Vegeta's "stump". And besides, they only showed his ass twice, once right after he got his tail cut off, and once when he was talking to Goku mentally, when he didn't have it. Other than that, when the hell was Vegeta ever naked?

I always found that scene of Vegeta talking to Goku mentally a little weird to watch.
