What would your "Legendary SSJ" look like?

Discussion regarding the entirety of the franchise in a general (meta) sense, including such aspects as: production, trends, merchandise, fan culture, and more.

One of three possible answers, the tail is wrapped around his waist. Another is that it is angled between his body and our view or Toei screwed up.

It doesn't last long enough to tell us anything either way. We see Oozaru Pan Buukin acting pissed when he gets wounded. Apart that, I'll go with Super Ghost Kamikaze's "enjoying rampant destruction" theory. Even Oozaru Vegeta loved torture.

What about the part where they are all talking when the conquest is over, in the dub, they all jokingly ridicule Bardock about his apparent ability or inability (I forget which) to remember what he did in his transformed state.
The Saiyans are very much like the Klingons and Jem'Hadar.

That's the dub.

In the Japanese version, the conversation only STARTS with Pan Buukin cursing while feeling his wound. Toma laughs at Pan Buukin for dropping his guard (which thus implies he should have the ability to know to keep it up in the first place) and then asks Bardock if he thinks he (Bardock) went over the top for Goku's birthday celebration. Bardock's says it would be a farce to celebrate Goku's birth. When Celipa asks if he'll go see him, he answers there's no point as Goku's merely the child of a Low Level Warrior.

All that talk about which ones can remember the Oozaru state is nothing but silence in the original version.

It really does make you wonder what Barduck would think if he ever met his son down the line...

The result would be a massive erection, or a light piss in the pants. I assume..

Pride. He already showed it when he realized Goku would be the one to defeat Freeza.

How does any of that contribute to the discussion?

People just dont get it.

I'm still going with either SS4 or the golden oozaru for my choice.

Well, if we're posting pictures, this is the one and only Legendary Super Saiyan:

I second Rocketman. That was the legend brought to life. Until Toei figured that USSJ2 would make a better starting point for such things.

The golden ozaru bit makes sense too, but I figure if you had a tail the two would go hand in hand.
To show my appreciation, I'll only beat them half to death.

Yes. And it goes well with the "His power and rage was so big that he ended up destroying himself", which Vegeta said.
It reminds a lot of Vegeta's description.
Goku is finally the Legendary Super Saiyan, and he dies on the same planet he transformed.
But then he survived...
No more time for Daizex. Goodbye folks!

Oh lighten up amigo. I was just having a little fun for a change. :P

In all seriousness though, I’m actually more or less with Rocketman on this one.
It is cool; the problem was that when I first saw that thing I freaked out, then the next time I look I see Trunk’s junk posted all over the screen.

I was like 'what the hell is going on!'

I see you have a lot of fun around here posting little animated children’s junk.

Hm, let's see.

Image

Cell.

With Saiyan DNA in his blood, as well as a desire to fight and literally unlimited potential, Cell could very well be considered a viable candidate. Look at that yellow aura! Definitely Super Saiyan. Also, he has a love of destruction that is a definite aspect of the legend, with him willing to destroy the earth and quite possibly continue off into space to continue tormenting the Universe.

Cell.

The true Legendary Super Saiyan.
