Eh? Then why were you so insistent on finding out if it was included in the first place? For something that's an "odd curiosity", you asked quite a few times . . . like it was some sorta deal-breaker or something. :D

I got mine at best buy and they aren't having the package deal this time :(

Ended up costing me $60 with tax for these :(

They're not doing the package deal?

. . .

That's just . . . odd. I mean, they've always done it. Hell, I can remember so far back as 2005 when they were doing it for Vegeta Saga I: Saiyan Showdown and the second Broli movie. I was all over that shit.

That's just how I roll, homedawg. 8) Besides, I thought it still seemed like a big question that others might want answered.

So no Best Buy double-deal, eh? Bummer, but I can get them almost as cheap via other places. $30 for the Season at Wal-Mart or Target, and $20 for the Double-Feature at MovieStop. A difference of $5 isn't too bad.

Yeah, true. I was interested in knowing, for sure.

I'm just not as outspoken about wanting answers as you. The details always trickle in eventually . . . althought the way this was goin' I was startin' to wonder if I'd hafta wait until I actually got my hands on the set before your question could be answered. It just seemed to get skipped so many times.

I was perusing the weekly Best Buy ad today and noticed it was missing. Looks like I'll have to brave the Walmart this week for the season set (usually $30) and get the Double Feature... on Amazon? Anybody know where that's the cheapest?

$26.98 at Right Stuf
$20.97 at DeepDiscount.com
$19.08 at Overstock.com
$18.99 at Amazon.com

Overstock.com has $1 shipping on all items. DeepDiscount.com offers free shipping. So while Amazon offers the lowest price, you may actually pay less with someone else.

That blows. I guess will have to get Season 7 from Wal Mart then.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Even without the Best Buy super saver deal, it's still around $50 for both the Season Seven and the Double Feature up at Wal-Mart. Not too bad, ne?

I kinda don't like shopping at Wal Mart(bad history with the company....bullshit employee pratices), but I guess I might buy it from them this time.

You don't like physically shopping at their stores, or just don't want to give them your business at ALL? 'Cuz the online price is the same thing if it's just setting foot inside the place that you have a problem with.

Both. At my local store, I know the assholes who run it..and I dont want to give them my business. I guess I will have to weigh my love of Dragonball over my hate of Wal Mart and see which is stronger.

If it's like that, then don't even bother pulling out the scales. There's plenty of other online merchants who have the set for the same price-- go with one of them and keep your integrity in the process.

Then go to Target. Their prices are practically the same.

I looked up Target's prices to back you up on that, and do you know what they have?

The same thing Amazon does: A Blu-ray listing for DragonBall Z: Season One.

. . .

Amazon I get, but Target? Target?! What's going on here, exactly?

My beef with Walmart is that no matter what time I go in, they have so few people working registers that it takes no less than 20 minutes to check out. But do they have movies 5/6 for 20 bucks, too? Couldn't find it on their website.

It's usually in stock. Wal-Mart is where I scoop up my Double Feature releases upon release.

There's something wrong with the website, though. Both the Blu-ray and DVD listings for the Tree of Might/Lord Slug Double Feature have box art for the Cooler's Revenge/Return of Cooler Double Feature posted instead, whereas the latter doesn't even have its own page for Blu-ray or DVD purchase. So while the prices are all twenty bucks a pop, there's no way to know what you're actually buying.

It's understaffed on purpose.

Of course. Less employees means higher profits. A friend of mine wrote a term paper years ago detailing their union-busting policies, lack of employee benefits, human rights abuses in foreign factories, ect, ect... And yet I still shop there time to time. It's not like I'm going to bring the corporation down by paying ten bucks more for my DBZ this month; then again that reminds me of the excuses some people use for not recycling. Argh, I'm so conflicted!
