LOL. It's funny now that he is no more. Although the Budokai games are worthless without his music. It's not the same.

Um, I'd beg to differ. True the music in them were great and added to the atmosphere, so was the game play and aesthetics as well.

Yes. The Gameplay and overall quality of this game is the most important part, but i couldn't see myself enjoying the Dragon Universe without this.

These Ultimate Tenkaichi soundtracks are for the most part too loud, and none of them contains that adventure feeling Budokai games gave us. Also the fact they will "rush" with adding the BGMs like they did with UT, the boring music for battle and action music for exploration.

To me, the Ultimate Tenkaichi soundtrack actually contained the most adventure-like/epic music from a Dragon Ball game since Budokai 1 (who only had a few spectacular tracks though). It was the first time in a very long time that a game actually understood more or less how to translate the Dragon Ball spirit into music. Some tracks can just make me imagine myself flying in a bright blue sky, while others are just perfect for "the supreme warrior is here, and the bad guys have already lost before the fight even begins" and others will make you think "the situation seems painful and desperate, but heroism never fades away in the harsh times".

It's simple: half of the tracks could have been used in the anime.
Music from the Tenkaichi and Raging Blast was mostly insignificant, but if there is music from Ultimate Tenkaichi, then the story mode is just going to be epic. 8)

If you guys really miss the Budokai 3 soundtrack that much then you can always play it on your 360. I do that sometimes with games when playing games like Doom.

It sounded pretty good, but like i stated, it was badly inserted into the moment. In the most anti-climatic situations. Just look at this:

A "relaxing" music plays while you battle the Final Boss in the whole game >_>

"Comparison" Screenshots

4:3 stretched to 16:9 isn't exactly a fair comparison. And what in the world is with this screenshot:

Yeah, i heard this before.

Atleast Kenji Yamamoto was getting "inspired" from good songs, like Hunting High and Low for example. I really love what he did for Dragon Ball though. They should have kept him as Opening Composer though, all we're getting now is Chala-Head-Chala in most of the games, or no intro, or instrumental intro (Although HD Collection Trailer/Intro music is pretty cool.) Too bad there is no more vocal though =/

Oh wow. I didn't expect the characters to look like their burst limit counterparts. I think I will buy this now.

It's like they purposefully fucked them up to make the comparison look better.

The menus and title cards are the real winners in the HD remake. They look so crisp! Also the Budokai models don't look it but after playing the first one again recently they are definitely better. The edges on the models are smooth now. Budokai 3 has a noticeable change and you can see this is the game that got the most attention in the remake.

Wow that comparison really showed the true potential of the game. I'll buy it.

The menus, characters and whatnot it's just looks all so wonderful, I wonder how it'll be the cutscenes.

Oh wait, I better not expect uncensored cutscenes.

The HD collection does look a lot nicer then both Budokai 1 and 3. It looks like that this is not going to be a lazy HD collection after all.

Wow, what a bullshit comparison. They must not have any faith in the port job if they need to mess up the old version screenshots to make the HD release look any good.

Hey, yeah... that's a really good idea.

Does anywhere still stock it though?
