I'm hoping for some more "weather" stages. Like stages where it's snowing or raining during the battle and thus making it more difficult to fight as you go along.
(Snow collecting on the ground and making it harder to move or see, rain making the ground slipperier)
On hiatus.

Keep dreaming then, that's too much work for the game's engine.

They it seems it's literally 30 stages (that probably means they are not counting diferent day times).

If anyone is wondering, it's on the Atari Forums.

Very much agreed. I thought the Muscle Tower stage in Budokai 2 and demolished/raining battle field in Budokai 3 were simply breath taking in detail. Especially with the Muscle Tower stage, where we could fight at two different areas of the mountain, alongside knocking our opponent to the lower grounds through different methods (either through a bridge or the tower itself). The snow in said level and the rain in the mentioned Budokai 3 level were just designed to fall so beautifully, I couldn't help but kick my roommate whenever he wanted to skip the opening sequence before battle. Having stages like those in METEOR would be orgasmic IMO, kinda like a Socom level meeting DBZ in terms of the dramatic setting for battle. Spike seems to borrow/homage/rip a lot of ideas from the Budokai series, such thought-out ideas in the stages would be fabulous to pull off IMO. *gives Chuquita a box of pocky for reminder of said awesome levels*

Cool lots of stages. I hope they have both types of HFIL with and without jellybeans.

Perhaps a inside the lookout stage like in first episode of GT

We COULD get good things taking up space/power in this game like beautifully-crafted and realistically-damageable stages, popular alternate costumes (POSTBOY Piccolo, anyone?), complex and realistic fighting mechanics, and what not...

But no, we're getting BABIDI as a playable character instead. Freakin' BABIDI! What the hell? What in the world would make the game developers think people would want that?!

You know, I'm not likely to ever play this game, ever. And I'm sorry if I'm acting a little uncharacteristically whiney, here. But I'm still not liking this.

Please people, stop whining, please ;_; you are making my head hurt.

As I have been reading, it seems they are trying to complete all the arcs, that's why we have these minor Buu Saga characters, also expect 23rd Tournament saga to be complete and maybe some more.

"Completing all the arcs," you say? Fine then. Where's my Ledgic, General Rildo, and Nova/Eis Xinglong? You know, characters that actually FIGHT AND DO SOMETHING WORTHY OF BEING PUT INTO A FIGHTING GAME?

If you care to wait, maybe they will reveal them in the future. They promised 20 new character not counting transformations. We have 5.

But hey, this is only what I read from Atari and stuff, if it comes out to not be real don't come blaming me ok?

If I get Wheelo, I'm happy. If I don't, I'm not. Simple as that. I want to play as a brain in a giant robot.

Well...if it is the last one, might as well through everyone in there right? I know the "roster" was the major appeal of the game but I still see the fighting itself as stiff and there's just little things that bother me in the first two games, mostly in the sequel because you'd think they'd get it right.

You can call me Rick because I'm not actually Piccolo.
I missed out on all of the DB Movie fun, huh?
Point blank: it's gonna suck if you want it to. Personally, I'm seeing it as a comedy.

You know, I was thinking. They should make the 'wall effect' for the giants break based on stats as opposed to form (and hey, maybe that IS what they did and why SSJ4 Gogeta couldn't phase Brolly) as that would make things so much better. Make it so that attack has to be over, say, 10, before melee attacks break the wall. Blast 2 over 10 before Rush type Blast 2s break it. Rush type UBs should break the wall by default (ala Tapion's and Yajirobe's).
Wow, this would be awesome! Xyex, you should develop Sparkling Meteor! Oh and Babidi is something I would like to play, but actually love to play any awesome or weak character. More than 30 stages? So 16 real stages? And the others are day and night version? Hell, Kaio-sama planet and Other World Tournament? Cave, Blue fought in?

Well, they've said they're adding characters to complete their story mode. And since we only know 5/6 of them so far (King Cold, King Vegeta, Nail, Spopovitch, Babidi, and Seripa (she's *still* listed as confirmed on the French Atari boards) there's still plenty of room left.
Wow, this would be awesome! Xyex, you should develop Sparkling Meteor!
Heh. If I was making the game it wouldn't be following the series story-line... at all. >> I've had an idea for DB Fighting Game for ages that would actually give a reason for Raditz and Goten or Freeza and Buu or Bardock and Gohan, or Slug and Cell to be walking around at the same time. And I'd be using that!

I'm still a bit... pessimistic about this '30 stages' stuff. If they're counting the alternate day/night type stages... that could mean only 10 unqiue locations. (Dusk/Morning, Night, Noon). :/

<Kaboom> Neither does Rita
<Xyex> Good point.

Characters this game needs to spark my interest:
GT Goku (Child)
Adult Goten
Adult Trunks
King Kai

I'd probly' be sold if it had them characters, even if the gameplay mechanics were exactly the same. :P

I am thinking that if we do get Kaio-sama planet, we should have some restriction on where your speed is reduced, due to the gravity on the planet but SSJ and above will be able to move as quick as they are supposed to be.

I'm glad we have Babidi instead of any of those guys.

Well, yours was pointless too, because, you know.. there's another topic for the discussion of exactly the thing you posted.
