True but I also had moments where it just passed through the opponent without dealing any damage. Or the the Supernova connects (the controller vibrates, indicating the hit) and vanishes instantly, again without any damage.
But what I really like is having Hit's moves for my CaC, so I can use other moves as well. I'm not limited to close combat only like with Hit himself.
Hit's moves are cool but pretty underwhelming in comparison to pre-existing moves. His Back Breaker counter pales in comparison to Pressure Sign (honestly one of the most broken moves in the game). Jump Spike is too much of a hassle to hit with IMO, and his ult is pretty useless when you have Dragon Fist which does nearly double the damage for the same ki cost. Flash Skewer is still pretty great though.
Is Pure Progress unlockable from him?
Yeah, I'm always torn between "effect over style" and "finish in style". But since my Main CaC has his "canon" Move Set it doesn't really matter. I'm just using Hit's moves now because I wanna fill up the "Mentor Gauge". But I guess I'm gonna create a CaC especially for those moves.
And no, not yet. Sorry. And I doubt we'll ever get it, because it's kinda a thing for Hit only. I mean, CaCs can't change their stances and battle styles and if you wanna boost your Attacks there are more than enough options (and I think Super Saiyajin 3 is more than enough to boost Hit's moves by a great deal).

Clifford Chaplin plays Cabba and Greg Ayers is Frost. The Greg Ayers voicing Frost was definitely an intentional joke/meta casting on FUNimation's part.

And that you also have IMMENSELY skewed and comically backwards priorities in what you think is most important and needed to make a good Dragon Ball story.

Yup. So, Greg not only voices Guldo but also Frost now. Good for him.

I tried it against Serious Bomb, and Serious Bomb was slightly stronger when I used my CAC. Nothing really compared to Serious Bomb in raw damage yet.

Power levels establish tension and drama. People who care about them (well, people who care about them in a narrative) don't care about the big numbers or the fancy explosions. If you have character A who's so much above character B, who's the main character, you're gonna be left wondering how in the hell character B, the character we're supposed to care and root for, is going to escape the situation or overcome the odds. It makes us emotionally invested.
If character B doesn't escape the situation in a believable way that's consistent with previous events, then that emotional investment is gone. It was pointless tension, pointless drama made just to suck in the viewer. It has no critical value whatsoever. The audience is left believing that the author can just create whatever scenarios he wants and what happens to the characters is decided by whatever the author wants to happen, regardless of the events that happened in the story. Which, in fairness, is what happens, but the audience wants to be fooled. The audience wants to know that the world they're following has rules. That the world they're invested in isn't going to bend to external factors that are irrelevant to them.
An author can do whatever he wants with the characters, that's not false. But the author should also have the responsibility to make sure it fits in cohesively with the other events in the narrative he has created.

How's that? They have plenty material to work with Black Rosé moveset, melee combos and etc. Cabba is a proof of that as his melee attacks are no copy from other character.
But talking about DLCs in general... We will have Goku and Vegeta (RoF attires) to become SSJs? And same with normal attires becoming a SSGSS? I'm waiting for those
Are we too old to enjoy new Dragon Ball movies/series?

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.
Why are Goku and Vegeta made of paper mache in the first new quest? They take so much damage it's ridiculous. Worse than the Super Boo quest. I have to use energy zone to try and keep their HP up and Giant Storm hasn't been working as well as it used to.

Maybe because of personal bias but I do like Frost. I have to say I prefer his Final Form 2 set up, the stock moves are better and their colour goes well with his own.
However since I missed the weekend buy, what dose his Secret Poison do exactly? I doesn't seem to do damage over time unless I'm not paying attention enough.
So I made it to the Ultimate Finish section, but there's not enough time....how the hell do you even get through this PQ. It's ridiculous!

Don't know about the US release, but for the European players:
To get the pack with the 5 masters, you have to login on the bandainamco website, enter the vip corner and request a code for free.
Once you've received the code via e-mail, you can enter it in the store to enable the download

Sounds pretty stupid. In the US it's as simple as downloading it from the playstation store.
