We still have to wait and see, it's too early to say if Karasawa left yet, he could very well be on episode 81 or 82.Shreyas_Singh wrote:So has Karasawa left? Next Higashide?

I think it's pretty ridiculous to think Karasawa would have suddenly left .ArchedThunder wrote:We still have to wait and see, it's too early to say if Karasawa left yet, he could very well be on episode 81 or 82.Shreyas_Singh wrote:So has Karasawa left? Next Higashide?

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 78
For Super it's not exactly ridiculous for anyone to leave. Karasawa recently showed up on another show, however it wouldn't be the first time that he's animated on another show between his episodes of Super.kinisking wrote: I think it's pretty ridiculous to think Karasawa would have suddenly left .
Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 78
Karasawa has been a consistent supervisor since 31, I'm pretty sure he's here to say. We've had directors leave, but whether it was their own choice or not is unknown. I doubt the higher ups would remove an animation supervisor and I doubt he'd suddenly jump ship.ArchedThunder wrote:For Super it's not exactly ridiculous for anyone to leave. We've lost other regular staff members before, it's not out of the realm of possibility that Karasawa has left.kinisking wrote: Karasawa has been a consistent supervisor since 31, I'm pretty sure he's here to say. I still think we're going to see him on 81 or 82 though.

If he does appear in 81 or 82, is it wrong to expect his best in the show in either of those episodes considering he's gotten some extra time?ArchedThunder wrote:We've lost other regular staff members before, it's not out of the realm of possibility that Karasawa has left.kinisking wrote: Karasawa has been a consistent supervisor since 31, I'm pretty sure he's here to say. Who knows, but I'd imagine it'd be pretty good, despite him showing up on another show in the meantime. I have no idea how much he actually did on that episode of the other anime he showed up on, maybe he did it awhile back and that was the reason for his near absence on 72.Lord Beerus wrote: If he does appear in 81 or 82, is it wrong to expect his best in the show in either of those episodes considering he's gotten some extra time?

It's still way too early to even make these assumptions. There's not enough to even talk about, really.

But we've also lost some regular animators, directors and storyboarders in Super's run.

He wasn't even there long enough to be considered a regular, was he? He's supervised less than half a dozen episodes.ArchedThunder wrote:Toma.kinisking wrote: Which consistent animation supervisor have we lost ?

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 78
He regularly worked on episodes for more than a cour, I'd call that a regular. Karasawa's only supervised 3 more episodes than Toma did.Jinzoningen MULE wrote: He wasn't even there long enough to be considered a regular, was he? He's supervised less than half a dozen episodes.
Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 78
He only regularly worked for 4 episodes . Karasawa did 7. Although that's 3 more episodes, that's almost double the length . Not to mention Toma already set a precedent for dissapearing.ArchedThunder wrote:He regularly worked on episodes for more than a cour, I'd call that a regular. Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 78
Looks like the exhibition will be going into episode 82 based on the provisional titles that just released.
https://twitter.com/Herms98/status/834711835353821185
So if Karaswa is still on the show he should definitely show up on either 81 or 82.
I'm gonna guess he's on 81 and 82 is Nashizawa + someone else, maybe Itai or one the Ano-nuevos.

Manabe is on 80 and Shimanuki is on 81 according to New Type. So perhaps Karasawa is in 82, the episode with Topo?

He might work with Shimanuki on 81 and NewType didn't put his name there, because it's weird that Shimanuki is making a solo episode

I hope to God Karasawa is in EP82, because if he's not, then that really doesn't bode well at all.Psykomatik wrote:Manabe is on 80 and Shimanuki is on 81 according to New Type. So perhaps Karasawa is in 82, the episode with Topo?

I hope to god that karasawa isn't leaving, the series would take a hit downward.
I think maybe Tatsuya Oka (not sure if he was really consistent, though)
