Check out this profile. The nose makes me think (and have more hope) that it might be Garlic Sr. Perhaps
he became God of Earth, and that's why Tapion's calling him sir.

Maybe the doctor (I can't remember his name) was talking about taking revenge out on him and not necessarily Universe 13.
Exactly. They are from the same universe after all and Raichi is probably the reason why Bardock asked to keep his presence a secret.

The tail is a mistake. He doesn't have one here in DBM.

So maybe this goes along with the theory that you can only go Super Saiyan if you're missing your tail...meaning that Bardock may be a Super Saiyan...?
(I didn't want to make another post for this, but 3 Portuguese posts in a row!)
(not that I actually live in Portugal or speak Portuguese....but both of my parents did/do...)

Either one makes a ton of sense (given the little we know about the look) and both Garlic Sr. or Pre-Piccolo Daimao/Kami would be awesome.
Although...for Tapion to call him sir...it would have to be more of the lines of a Kaioshin, maybe? (No hints of Earthlings from this universe)

Question: Is there a chart out there detailing each of the universes?
Sometimes I get lost in these universe numbers and forget which is which.

I just think Tapion is being polite. He doesn't know Mystery Guy's name afterall.

Aw shucks, why does this disappoints me? I guess I must have a thing for guys with tails.

Maybe. It seems like only the tailless Saiyans are capable to turn SS in this comic.

Considering the movie / tv special theme of that universe, I can only expect the other guy to be Lord Slug or Janemba.

No, but I've been planning on doing one. If I do one, I'll post it here.

I'm honestly more curious about Lychee than mystery-shadow-man.
I imagine in their universe, the Tsufrians won out over the Saiyans... but if so, how did Bardock survive? And since he was apparently believed dead by Lychee, what happened between them in their universe?

Always hated this particular fan theory but while it is not stated in the DBM story so far it seems to be the trend what with U#13 Vegeta and Kakarotto being SSJ but apparently tailess while the others have their tails but are not. My own take for the identity of the shadowy figure is likely this Xxi fellow or perhaps either Garlic Jr or Slug as others have pointed out already. Anyway, here's hoping Raditz is not a pushover although I suspect his father will still win if he is a super saiyan.

Being SSJ doesn't grant invincibility. Raditz will most likely go Oozaru.
Simian upstart...none surpass me. No one even comes close! BURN THIS INTO YOUR MIND! I am emperor of the universe. The likes of you are only fit to grovel at my feet. Or better still...to be crushed...LIKE AN INSECT AT THE WHIM OF YOUR MASTER!

There's still nothing to suggest this Bardock can even go Super Saiyan..so let's stop jumping the gun here and enjoy a good 'ol Family Feud

I'm becoming more interesting in this next round, finally some action from U3. Considering it's populated by movie and special characters I've been believing the shadow-figure to be some alternate Slug; but the thought of Garlic Jr. actually makes a lot more sense. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

I think Tom Dubois of "The Boondocks" said it best for me when FUNimation announced the release of the domestic Dragonbox, after buying all of the Season Sets: "MOTHERFUCK!!! SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT, PRICKS, SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIIIIIIIT!"

Really liked the talk between them. It seems pretty much in character.
