This will be fun.
Also, Boo pisses him off? How and why? lol
Either Boo busts out the good ol' Game-Poi or he eats Birusu's food.

Not really, Vegeta is probably one of the best fighters by the end of the Majin Boo conflict. Why? Because he's simply the most practical one. Goku has Super Saiyan 3, but he can't really use it for long in the world of the living and it zaps his Ki like a draining battery, Gohan has the Ultimate form thanks to the Elder Kai Unlock Ability, and he could probably beat Vegeta (considering their both smart, though I'd still say Vegeta's more tactical), Gotenks is a fusion fighter who requires two weaker fighters to perform a dance (which can be interrupted) to form him, and even if he does come into being he tends to be such a clown that it'd stand to reason that only Super Boo's dumb self would have the patience for him and his shennanigans, and outside that he's only good for a 30-minute round. Vegeta has mastery of Super Saiyan 2 thanks to his constant training during peacetime, and even then Vegeta's techniques tend to be of the "I'll finish him off here and now" variety rather than the "Hehe, this is fun, I'll keep more of my power under wraps" way of fighting that Goku employs to keep himself entertained.
Only thing I have a bone to pick with here is Gohan only "probably" being able to beat Vegeta... x.x. Gohan should be able to finger flick Vegeta like Birusu to SSJ3 Goku lol, with their enormous power gaps.

Just imaging the sight of the whole cast watching Vegeta dance like an idiot....it's like those scenes in movies where it's so embarrassing for the character, you end up feeling embarrassed too. Come to think of it, I kinda feel bad for poor ol' Veggie! :P

Come to think of it, if TFS ever does this movie (long ass time from now but still), they're going to have a field day with this material!

Quickly becoming my favorite Dragon Ball movie. Toriyama's influence and the longer run time make it seem more like a miniature arc, which is drastically helping to improve the quality. I know a lot of people don't want it, but the only thing that would make this feel more complete to me is the tradition of the major Saiyan powerhouses all reaching the previous arc's latest transformation; meaning Vegeta gaining SS3. Even despite its flaws, Goku is still using it, so why shouldn't Vegeta tap into it for tight spots as well...

Anyway, I just think it would be nice if he obtained it, but I won't complain if he doesn't. He has his own time to shine in this film by showing off his dance moves:

End of Z, where I think it was said that Gohan slacked off his training and wasn't as good as he was before. Sure Ultimate Gohan's a beast, but that doesn't mean he still has the same edge he did at the end of Z than he had when he fought Boo. Vegeta's one of the few characters who managed to maintain the Eye of the Tiger by the end of the series.

And, I think it's ironic that we haven't seen a drunken Gohan since the first Dragon Ball Z movie.

I don't think it was ever officially stated that Gohan slacked off by End of Z. It's probably true that he didn't train super hard since he...well..has a life but at this point we are basically assuming. If you want my 2 cents, Gohan didn't totally slack off like he did during the 7 year gap (learned his lesson?) and maintained decent training since his father was around (he probably wanted to spend more time with him, why not train with him?). But that's just my fanon.

Well if I remember correctly this was debated before, but my viewpoint is that since Gohan had all his latent potential released, and then some, he's pretty much at a set power (which I don't happen to like, but yea). He can't go down, he can't go up, all his power plus more has been put out, so even despite his lack of training, sure his skill may have gone down, but his power is still high up there. And the huge monstrous gap between SSJ2 Vegeta and U. Gohan should be tremendous enough by itself to be unbeatable by Vegeta in just a few years of Earth training without a new transformation.

I wonder what in the world would inspire something like that? It's not like there's an all-powerful, normally docile but potentially prone to destruction, infinitely badass, purple, cat-like legendary Pokémon that might be seen as similar to Billy, or anything.

I mean he tried his most powerfull form before and got beaten so why go back for another attempt in his weaker transformations?
People keep asking this but it seems to me that even at SSJ1 or SSJ2 the power is enough to hold your own. Goku and Vegeta both fought Boo at SSJ1/2 at various points throughout that arc. Goku begins his entire fight with Kid Boo that way. Goku seems to treat SSJ3 as a temporary power-up because, if you remember, he cannot hold the form for very long in the living world because of how quickly it drains his energy. It's something really more suited to the afterlife and it has a major drawback. It's good for a short burst of raw power but if that's not going to be of any use (which obviously it wasn't from what we know) then it's not a useful transformation. He probably decides his energy can be used in better ways and fights as a SSJ with SSJ3 as a last resort sort of thing.

This unfortunately also means Vegeta probably will never reach SSJ3 for real, because Goku was only able to really discover SSJ3 in the afterlife and because of that it may be nearly impossible to really learn it while you are still alive. Even if he could it would have the same drawback. No, I still feel like Vegeta SHOULD be powered up but it could be something original like mystic/ultimate Gohan and this new SSJ God form or something.

... however, we also can't discount that Vegeta has likely become much stronger since they fought Boo (as with everyone else). This may hold true for the SSJ1/2 forms as well, becoming stronger in general may make those forms they hold stronger.

Oh no! I feel so bad for Vegeta. I'll love it, it's a massive change for him, something I never thought he'd do. I can't wait to see this. Poor Vegeta. :P

I want Vegeta to defeat Uisu so he atleast has a moment to shine (besides his dancing), and it's also a good time to vent his anger because of how he acts. :P

Goku never fought Kid Buu as a SSJ2 in the manga, he immediately went SSJ3.

Heh~heh, Vegeta's only respite will be that Goku won't be there to witness him forcing himself through what I'm hoping will be a medley of falsely-sugarcoated madness.
Will Goku at least learn that this happened by the end of the film? I envision Vegeta making everyone else swear to secrecy that his host routine never happened and that Kakarrotto must never know.

I am so hyped for this part of the movie now. This is the sort of thing I never imagined I'd see outside of doujinshi and fics, and yet it's happening. X3

That how the movies, and anime, roll. It doesn't make sense for Goku to do better with SS1/2 that he does with SS3 in the first fight, but it's practically inevitable to happen. They just don't care about the logic behind it.

bleed0range Only in the anime. In the manga, if Goku wanted to fight any form of Boo, he'd be fucked without Super Saiyan 3. Look at how easily Vegeta got beaten as a SS2. There's a large gap between the forms.

Besides, Goku is seemingly doing better with a lower form. That's just plain inconsistent - SS3 isn't powerful enough to match Bils, but SS1/2 are.

@Ki-transfer idea God, I hope not. It didn't make sense in movie 8, and GT used it twice. And it doesn't make sense. If they could use that in the series, they should've, because it's an utterly broken ability to transfer power to someone.

I think Uisu might be too major for Vegeta to defeat. They're hyping him up as something big (see poster  ), so I think Goku will be responsible for the defeats of both of them. That, or Kaio gets in on the action. :D

But then again, there are supposedly strong links to Vegeta and the Saiyan race in this movie so you never know. That might be enough to warrant Vegeta receiving a bit of credit.

I know about those, but they aren't the same thing. Those examples don't result in the recipient becoming stupidly powerful. They seem more like transferring ki reserves to replace lost energy than transferring power to make someone stronger.

Arguably, that's because it simply wasn't their goal or the donors didn't have enough energy; Goku was never going to give enough ki to make Freeza a threat to him, and Gohan and Kuririn didn't have enough energy left to boost Piccolo beyond his max.

That's true, but then it doesn't really prove they could boost people above their maximum, like I've been saying.
