Where are you getting the idea that Universe 6 happen before "F"? Toriyama says it happens after "F". Also SSG was not disregarded it was merely expanded on with SSGSS, thus filling it's potential. I think it would be considered disregarded if as soon as it went away Goku was back to normal, not absorbing it.

SSGSS is less ignoring SSJG and more replacing it with something much less cool. I think that's what they meant by "disregarding", as in having SSJG used only once.

Does anyone know what was up with the scene where Roshi runs into Goku's house yelling something and ChiChi kicks him out? It kind of seemed like he was trying to warn them about something and ChiChi got mad that Goku would have to fight again.

So I'm wondering ...could Roshi sense Beerus...?

He heard Goku just got a lot of money, and wanted some to buy adult DVDs.

Was probably my least favorite moment of the episode, it wasent even funny, just a plain ass pulled moment. Roshi island should be atleast 3000km away from gokus house anyway.

I loved that scene, it was an excuse to show Kamesennin on screen, one of my favorite characters. I hope he appears in every single episode like this.

SSJG will probably be thrown out once Bluper comes into the picture. SSJG is a temporary form, while SSGSS is basically mastering it's power.

Oh blueper is so boring/plain/uninteresting to me. There's nothing unique about it. It's literally blue ssj1 only stronger and having that replace the fire-themed, slimming, vaguely "is it eerie or is it cute?" eyes ssjg form...blueper was a super disappointment to me.

If blueper hadn't replaced ssjg, I'd probably be neutral to it, but I plain dislike it because it replaced something I really do like and it added nothing to it to boot. It's a recolor.

I don't expect Uni 6 to take place before ReF. I would like it to. The opening's choice of clothing for Gokû and Vegeta as they walk toward that void elude maybe to it, but Toriyama's statement makes me think Uni 6 is after ReF.

I already got surprised he remembered about King Cold and that Future Trunks was the one that killed him and Mecha Freeza, instead of Goku. Must be some Toei angel pulling the strings Orrr after ROF being done, Tori jus said "Okay, I'm hyped. I will re-read my manga again and write a new series". Thus, Super born.

He said he re-read the entire manga when he had to work in BoG, that's why.
But yeah, the staff is helping him also. Like in the original FnF script where Bulma said she had met Freeza briefly or something like that, fixed for the movie.

Though i think he still may have forgotten 1 or 2 details but, this Toriyama is in better shape than pre BoG toriyama, thats for sure.

So, the big question is, when are FUNi going to start dubbing this?. After the mess of the Majin Buu Arc of Kai (which they have yet to announce) I dread to think when they will start getting this out.
They'll want it on Toonami, so that may hold things up. As quick as they've been with "F", they have failed to deliver with Kai, and most likely, Super will suffer a similar fate - France will highly likely announce it first.

I would think, logically, they'd want to get the Buu-Kai stuff out of the way before doing Super. Sure, we've all seen/played the series a billion times and know every little minutia, but plenty of kids who watched it on Nicktoons likely don't and having the Buu-Kai episodes air before Super would be a nice segue into it.

SS2:
- Spikier hair
- Electric aura
- Bulkier

SSG:
- Red hair, change in skin tone
- Different eyes
- Slims down
- Flame aura

I remember a few years ago fans were wishing Toonami was back on the air so DB and other series would have a chance at becoming mainstream again and now it's back and thanks to that it looks like we'll be waiting years to get the new DB content on home video when we could be getting it now

SSJ2 is just an extension of SSJ. It's even called "grade 4" in an old magazine. Besides Kid Gohan's, it's meant to be very subtle.

Super Saiyan God was hyped up years after we were introduced to SSJ3 and SSJ4. You don't do that and give us... that. Not that I hate it. I think it's cute. But that doesn't make it any less disappointing.

SSGSS was exactly what it needed to be, and the route I knew Toriyama would go after watching BoG. The only thing that surprised me was the color, which I personally dislike; I imagined a SSJ with flaming red aura, red SSJ eyes, and red hair (or regular yellow hair with red highlights, which is even better). That form wasn't hyped at all either... it just appeared.

Super Saiyan God wasn't hyped at all. It was revealed that there'd be a new transformation and literally a few days later, if I'm recalling correctly, the design leaked. I'm not sure what people were expecting, either. I see tons of people wanting that Golden SS4, isn't that just as lazy and disappointing, if not more? What would people want from SSG, Goku's hair to completely cover his body and for him to turn into a giant fur-ball with electricity surrounding him?

Hopefully either
A. Funi and Toonami haven't signed such a deal and don't.
B. They are smart enough to realize the demand for Super and air it alongside Kai.
