So do you guys recommend getting the season pass? is it worth it? or should I wait for the 4 packs to release to actually get a glimpse of what I'm getting if its worth it? kinda sucks if we're only getting Vados and Champa this pack#2.

As of right now, no. Just stick with the free content they give.SansrivaaL wrote:So do you guys recommend getting the season pass? is it worth it? or should I wait for the 4 packs to release to actually get a glimpse of what I'm getting if its worth it? kinda sucks if we're only getting Vados and Champa this pack#2.

Not worth it at all. They don't have nearly enough content for the amount they're asking. Wait and see if the other packs are better, but I sorta doubt they will be.SansrivaaL wrote:So do you guys recommend getting the season pass? is it worth it? or should I wait for the 4 packs to release to actually get a glimpse of what I'm getting if its worth it? kinda sucks if we're only getting Vados and Champa this pack#2.

Well on PSN right now they're asking 29.99 for the season pass and asking $10 for the pack containing Cabbe and Frost. If the other character packs are like this (Vados and Champa, SSR Black and Zamasu, SSB Vegito and Merged Zamasu) then that's going to wind up being $40. Of course that grouping is entirely speculationTekTheNinja wrote:Not worth it at all. They don't have nearly enough content for the amount they're asking. So, who has experience with XV2 mods that can help recommend some good ones to me? I'm sure xenoversemods.com is the best resource for these, and I've been looking there.
These in particular have grabbed my eye, is anyone who has tried them able to give feedback on the?:
Ri-Organizer Roster
Budokai Soundtrack 1 -3 Original
Colourable male and female human/saiyan outfits.
I also had some general questions about modding XV2. Is doing so going to lock me out of online play, and if so, how big a difference will that make?

I'll take your advices, had a feeling it wasnt worth it seeing as what they released for the 1st pack, thanks guys.
Re: "Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2" Official Discussion Thread
Xenoverse mods won't lock you out of Online play to my knowledge, due to the fact that unless other players have that mod installed too they won't be able to tell you're using a mod (I have no idea what they see if you use a New Slot character). Hell, in the first Xenoverse you wouldn't get locked out of online play and those mods allowed you to cheat to your hearts content in Online.Saiga wrote:

Thing is, DLC packs like these really aren't even worth $5, let alone $10 or $30 for the season pass. When you compare the amount of content in the game itself to what they're putting into the packs, you can immediately see the disparity. If each of the four planned DLC packs is collectively around $40, pretty much Half of an entire new game (or a new game itself), then it should have content equivalent to how much was in the making of the original game. However, this is never true for games like this.
If the game has 100 characters and 20 stages, then DLC content collectively equaling half the games purchase price, should have an equivalent degree of content, such as 50 more characters and 10 new stages. However, that's not what we're getting. We didn't even get Zarbon's transformation in the main games, despite it having been in the Budokai games of the past, so we know Dimps can do it. And still miffed about Broly still only being in Legendary form, despite having both his other transformations in previous games by Dimps.
I still enjoy the game a bit for what it is, but my overall feelings for it just amount to disappointment. For as much potential as the series has with so much that can be done in terms of story, game play and content, what we get is overall just disappointing.

Really? With Xenoverse 1 my friend got locked out for using cheats, not sure exactly what he used but he had the whole maxed stats/infinite health/stamina/ki etcKanassa wrote:Xenoverse mods won't lock you out of Online play to my knowledge, due to the fact that unless other players have that mod installed too they won't be able to tell you're using a mod (I have no idea what they see if you use a New Slot character). I haven't been locked out yet. I use em, but only cosmetic stuff. I refuse to cheat with infinite health or that garbage. It's a waste of time.Saiga wrote:Really? Modding on Xenoverse 2:
- Music replacements are fine.
- Character mods which replace other characters, will work on online. To a degree - it depends on how much the mod alters. The same applies to mods which alter clothing.
- "Added slot" character mods, in X2M format, will NOT work online. At all. You can move around the hub, but if you try to use a X2M mod character in an online match, and you'll crash the other person's game. Only if they have the same character installed will it prevent them crashing.
- The game has a pretty basic anti cheat: add too many EXP points to your character or try and use a modified move, and the game will boot you back to the main menu, and you can't use the character online anymore. You'll have to restore it back to what it was.
If you're locked out of online play, you just can't join anyone's game. That's it, really.

I think I'll start with the music replacement for now, anyway.

I've been trying to find some good mods for this game. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm already using the Budokai soundtrack mod linked before.

I'm so lost in certain parts of this game. For one, I can't read the Dragon Radar worth beans. I also can't figure out how to unlock any other characters. I'm just getting back into it after getting it on launch day and getting frustrated (and busy) enough to put it down.

Click the right stick to zoom in and out the radar, and characters are unlocked from Parallel Quests. The S wrote:I'm so lost in certain parts of this game. That part I did get in the Radar, but like... sometimes I'll be right on top if it, or so it seems, and there's no ball nearby. Others, it looks like the ball is out of bounds.NintendoBlaze53 wrote:Click the right stick to zoom in and out the radar, and characters are unlocked from Parallel Quests. The S wrote:I'm so lost in certain parts of this game. I've done all of the one and two star PQs and haven't unlocked a single character.

You also have to advance the story. The way get every character and variation is to do story, do every PQ and wish for the best 3 dragons + hit
Re: "Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2" Official Discussion Thread
Okay, I downloaded the Steve Aoki DLC some time ago and he showed up in Conton and I can listen to the remixes. That's okay. But now I noticed that the remixes replaced the regular Credits Soundtracks. That's NOT okay. I liked the Credits as they were and nowhere was it stated, that those Soundtracks get replaced with the DLC. So... is there any way to undo this? I already tried to find an option to delete the DLC but couldn't finde anything so far.
And btw. since we got a Freeza-, Cell-, King Cold- and Mecha-Freeza-Suits so far I really hope we got a Coola-Suit (Final Form) some day (and maybe Meta-Coola too, but mostly Final Form) via update. Would be nice.
