Still, if this game has good cutscenes like Budokai 1 did, I might pick it up.
woah...holy crap! Nice catch. I think that's just a graphical error though, with the hair going through the clothes' polygons(if you get what I'm trying to say).
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

I seriously hope they finally fix that stupid Cell voice-over bug that's been around since Budokai 1. Hearing Imperfect Cell's voice in Perfect Cell's body has been kinda creepy... even to this day. :?

The Sparking! series didn't fix it? I don't even notice anymore.

In the second one, you can see the stage boundries by the color of the water.

I can't believe even this game will have 3-d animation for opening.

Actually, I've kinda stopped noticing it, too. But yeah, I think I remember even Sparking! METEOR having that bug.

Hey, I'm chipping in my two cents on this game. You all seem to be fine with this submedicority, and I'm not, as long as I'm not insulting anyone (and especially since it's the first time I've been this dissapointed before an actual release), I think I'm perfectly justified to do so.
Also, my therapist says it's good for my temper to take it out on invisible internet people.

It's not a bug. JPN's Cell doesn't really change his voice, so there's only one voice file for Cell.

Well that blows...I wish they would pull a budokai 3 where you could fly around all over the stage and instead of borders you would just pop up on the other side of the map. Sort of Pac-Man Style. It would still feel a bit lame but less restricting than the barriers.

You never liked the series in the first place. You've let it be known from the beginning that you don't approve of Raging Blast. Yet you continue to come in here and post negative stuff and insult those who don't. We get it. Sparking isn't a "true" fighting game, the graphics aren't as good as Burst Limit, blah blah blah, Street Fighter, blah. I don't think you've had any worthwhile input in this thread at all.

I don't really care much about Kai but you don't see me popping in the Kai thread and posting the same shit over and over.

ease up guys its all just a game. There is no need to start fighting over things that are just opinions.

Rory, I see your side and I agree with a lot of key points but no matter how much we want it there will never be a Super Dragonball Z2 so lets just drop it and work with what we got. I know I know why should we settle, but getting worked up about it and putting down this game isn't going to change anything. If anything you are just putting more hatred towards a game that could be potentially fun for us.

Innagadadavida, he is just sharing his opinion. Yes it is getting a little repetitive but he does have a point. Why should we settle for decent when the last game's look blew us all away?(well it blew me away)

All in all, guys, its just a game lets just work with what we have and try to enjoy the game. Personally despite some flaws so far I'm feeling optimistic about the game.

Hes refering to the story mode where you fly around and stuff. Hes wants it implemented in battles. It wouldn't work for areas like the one with cell, trunks and vegeta are shown since theres a city in the back ground, many stages aren't repetitive at all, just look whats outside the wall , the only stage they could make repitive is the city, namek, mountain area(where vegat fought goku) and Kamehouse..To make them loop you gotta get rid of the cities and other stuff shown in the stages like the cell saga islands where you see a city. If they ever add King Kai's planet then that would be a great stage they can loop and make continious. Tell me how would you do the tournment stage? You can't.

In the second one, you can see the stage boundries by the color of the water.
Or its just the lighting you can clearly see 3 shades in the water. You can't say really whats the barrier.

What option do I have? I have to settle because this is how things are. All I can do is hope that this game is at least fun, because it's way below what my expectations were. No amount of pessimism or protest will change that.

I'm just wondering why this game is such a far cry from Tenkaichi 3. Is it because they are working on a new platform or is it because they have to design all the character models from scratch? I just don't get why they would change simple things that worked like the HUB and the controls.

I will concede some of the models do look pretty cool but I'm still waiting on more info about story mode. Hopefully it will bring something new to the table and not just be something like Tenkaichi 2 (half assed cut-scenes and over 9,000 redundant battles.) Hell we don't even know what the music sounds like yet. Correct me if I'm wrong but don't we usually have more info by this time about the game? Either they're keeping to themselves because they are ashamed or they have something HUGE they want to let out a month or so before release.
