So this is actually happening huh? I have a feeling if they can get a good script and the right VA's together, that it could be better than FUNi's version.

I'm guessing they might borrow Funimation's scripts like they've done during the Android and Majin Boo sagas and also because they're helping Funimation with the editing on the show.

Look at the credits for the broadcast version of Kai. It clearly says that Ocean is editing.

Well, we'll see who will (if) any reprise their roles.
That screen shot was mentioned much earlier in the thread if memory serves me.... but this Freeza thing must be recording the very first episode. Think about it. Freeza is like the first to appear in the show. I know they don't have much done as of late.

If i'm not wrong I remember some Facebook rumblings a long time ago saying that this Ocean dub would start with the Freeza arc. That could explain why he said he's already recorded several episodes.Attitudefan wrote:Well, we'll see who will (if) any reprise their roles.

What the hell? Seriously? Man that sucks! Why not do the whole show? It's like last time but missing the saiyan saga! That's retarded to miss out on part of the show!

Ha ha, maybe since the old 1996\1997 dub left off during the Ginyu arc, perhaps they just figure they'll dub the episodes Ocean never got to.
No, but seriously. I have no idea why they would do that, it dosen't sound right.

That's what I thought too. It makes no sense. Why screw over Dragonball that way?!? Ocean, you guys are pros, don't dub it like a fan-made project!

Ocean Studios is the only way to see DB Kai in United Kingdom on TV. I wonder which TV channel will pick it up, NickToons, Disney XD and dare I say it CITV or the BBC.

Hm.... This "Lee Tockar" has done "Elder Morai" in DBZ before, lol...

Well, that's interesting. I wonder how the voice will sound then... more masculine?

I thought you meant the fact that he voiced someone in the original Z dub. Considering how often people misuse the word "irony" in that way, I assumed that's what you meant. Apologies.Attitudefan wrote: He was killed by Freeza!

accepted, and I understand where you are coming from! Though I won't be surprised not to see many people from the old dub return to reprise their older roles.Metalwario64 wrote:I thought you meant the fact that he voiced someone in the original Z dub.
