A lot of time charging up and extremely drawn out battles? Sounds like the perfect DBZ sim to me!

But 'Chilled' is a "real thing" though now right? Am I the only one who will be disappointed if the only two new characters [we dont know about oozaru yet] are SS Bardock and SS3 Trunks?

...Even though we will probably get shafted on creative ultimates for them either way.
We don't even know if this game will feature never before playable characters yet. It's not like Chilled is the only option for never before playables, either. If Tarble returns, I'm hoping for at least Aka (Abo & Cado would also be nice additions). There's also Bio Broly, a slew of movie henchmen, Toma, Totepo, Panbukin, Kami, Pui Pui, Yakon, and plenty of others.

I know there are plenty of more people to put into the game, but Chilled just happens to be the BRAND NEWEST one out there.

That might be the biggest problem for including Chilled. Having just been introduced, they may not have time to work him/her in with all their other plans.

Not feeling saiyans who are magically able to transform into SSJ or SSJ3, I'd rather keep that stuff out of these games, IMO. Instead of making those characters they should focus more of the movesets of the characters that are already established, and adding as many costumes as possible.

Not arguing with needing better movesets and costumes but I'm sure people would be PRETTY pissed off if the only new character this game saw was Oozaru Vegeta.

Isn't this out in Japan already? [The arcade game version thing] Are there videos out there of the ultimates?

The arcade game (Zenkai Battle Royale) is a different game. This is not out in any territory.

I'd just like to remind everyone in a little over 30 hours or so, we should have more information on this game. Nostal/Treevax, the same guy who leaked the final roster of Raging Blast 2, will be attending Japan Expo. So in addition to the official info given to use from Namco Bandai, we should also have info from Nostal's first hand experiences with the demo and the interview he has scheduled with Namdai and Spike representatives. Perhaps we'll finally get out of is borderline drought.

Yes, but there was actually incentive in Hyper Dimension for not powering up to drag out the fight... that being desperation attacks. ... How many games even have those? I can only really think of three off the top of my head, but I haven't played every game out there, so have in all likelyhood missed several.

Wasn't any beam used out of desperation only? Tenshinhan notes this in the 23rd tournament, where he states Goku didn't even use it because he was never in trouble.

In this trailer, they clip together different attacks to make it seem like we can do those combos in the game.

The combat looks recycled, Gohan has the exact same rush move.

I have to wonder if this game is just going to extensively cover every inch of the Saiyan saga or something? We haven't seen any sign of any other sagas and a lot of the alternative titles had a huge emphasis on the word "Saiyan". I don't know...just an idea.

Perhaps Super Saiyan's disagree?

BTW, I just noticed the HUD is different for boss battles than it is for regular ones... Boss battle HUDs seem easier to understand, I think, but I'm still confused. lol

Obviously part of the what-if mode expansion!

Or...I had forgotten about them. Either way.

Edit: I still think the Saiyan Saga will definitely be the highlight of the show and there will just be little bonus story stuff after it. That is my prediction. Calling it now.

The trailer is not as impressive as expected...

I am digging the graphics but to be honest after thinking about it looks like they are made of chalk.

"Some news live from the Japan Expo from our correspondents that will please and please do not let's start with what does not please. The gameplay has been completely redone and is much more accessible than before, and not only in story mode, apparently even in the Vs mode, Sharnalk was completely disoriented by the new gameplay, they made a 360 degree turnaround and QTY exist even in Vs mode So this will greatly divided the fans and especially those that swear by a technique not accessible gameplay.

The good news, the game is very fluid, the destruction of the scenery as you have seen are very impressive, we can now choose to send an attack, there are two types of combat in the demo mode or you Vs Goku , Bejita, Cell C-18 .... and the story mode against Bejita Oozaru, besides Goku fights against him shirtless, so loyalty aside clothes that will be respected. The graphics are very similar to those of Sho Dragon Ball Z on PS2 (which does not displease).
The fight against Bejita Oozaru, already you can not move about as you wish, you are limited in movement, but it's very very true to the anime is undeniable.
Despite this transfer the total gameplay the game is very fun to play, a lot of naruto storm in (a little Sasuke Vs Itachi fight) where events snap, as I said the same is the case in VS .
Again no original music, and we shall never have the original music.

It's a shame but it seems that once again was a total disappointment.
Oh last point of what I remember, the characters in GT for those who love (especially the U.S. will be participating).

Thank you to Tba77 for the information!"

Report from someone there, take it with several pinches of salt for now.
