Wait, it's just using Ultimate Tenkaichi music?

Well.... I suppose the music was one of the best parts of that game...

I remember hearing a BT3 track during the Select Character Screen, can't say for sure which one was it.

I kinda wish this would be announced for Japan, where they could replace Yamamoto's soundtrack with Kikuchi and slap Dragon Soul onto the opening animation other than that crappy generic intro from the trailer.

Rukura @ Budokai HD is on Amazon.co.jp but it's probably just imports.

http://www.amazon.co.jp/s/ref=nb_sb_nos ... hd&x=0&y=0

As they don't have the CERO ratings of Japan.

Nope, it's non BT3 music, it's from UT.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

That's strange I could track down the song if I heard it again but the videos from the Japan Expo are too noisy.

You really think so? I was looking at older screen shots of both games and the HD versions look much better.

Why didn't they change names of the tracks to something different?

Heat Capacity (BT3)

IMO, one of the better tracks in the game.

Because that would take effort and imagination. And as we've been seeing with almost everything regarding Ultimate Tenkaichi and thi HD Collection...yeah, not so much...

I'm just hoping that all the half-assing they've been doing these two years is actually a lead up to something good. Except, with our luck, it's probably just Ultimate Tenkaichi 2. (Which will be called "Sparking! Omega" just to fool everyone lol)

For an "Ultimate Tenkaichi" it should just exist one because it's the ultimate.

The fact that there are so many Dragon Ball games with "Tenkaichi" in the name is just as ironic lol. (also, 11 Ultimate Ninja games lol)

As someone... can't remember for the life of me who, said, even before anything about DBZ for Kinect was anything more than a name, if we're lucky, DBZ for Kinect will be a lazy UT rebranding with Kinect controls. The reason being, it would give them something to put out to fulfill the yearly game obligation, while in the meantime focusing on something with substance, for the first time giving them 2 years to work on it. It's been verified that producers are interested in a legit, high-quality/budget DBZ game. And, whatever it is will undoubtedly be tied in with the new movie. I think come next DBZ game season, we will see awesome.

Yeah, I doubt they would take the title in consideration for something like that. If developers did that, then we wouldn't have over 13 Final Fantasy games! lol

I'm a little frustrated that Namco Bandai hasn't released a demo for Budokai HD Collection to get a sample of how the music, graphics, gameplay and etc all are now, also, DBZ For Kinect (Kinect games mostly all tend to have playable demos on the marketplace).

Anyway, Star Wars For Kinect is a fun game and I'm planning to getting it but the game has some clunky controls.

I think in all HD collections that have been released so far, none of them had a demo.
It might be counter-productive, since the last thing producers of HD collections want is to give a proof that the only difference is HD and achivements/trophies.
If people can't play it and think "oh, this is ugly compared to other PS3/360 games" but instead just have a writing saying "experience those now-legendary games proven to be high quality with HD graphics like never before", it's more of a selling point.

I love HD collections, I've always thought that things should constantly be improved over time, and there's nothing like rediscovering a game you loved with HD and achievements/trophies, it does show an enjoyable improvement for those players who have played it before.
But to the "regular" player that has never known the original game, I guess playing the demo would just make them think "guh, the graphics are horrible, no way I'm buying that".
It's better marketing-wise to "trick him" into buying it, then he goes "ew, those graphics they said to be HD remastered are nothing like nowadays standards" and then after a few hours "oh, the graphics are actually not so bad after all, and the game is indeed great!!".
