They aren't going to just leave...
They have to work on filler & the next arc.
When filler episodes are going on it frees up some key animators as those episodes do not require a lot of key animators or good key animators because of the nature of those episodes, so some key animators as a result are freed up and can work on other projects. Especially if the filler arc is long, they can send some of the good key animators to other projects to help them.
One Piece never has long filler arcs.
They're always a few episodes at best.
They don't need good key animators but if Toei really wanted them there they'd be there.
The Spa Island arc is a good example of that.
Those episodes looked fantastic even though they weren't very action oriented
I'm almost convinced some of the Precure staff have been shuffled over to Sailor Moon Crystal season 3 with how noticeable a drop in animation quality there's been since MahoPre started (last season, Go!Pri, was beautiful to look at animation wise by comparison) but I'll hold out some hope that maybe Super will be getting some aid too in the near future.

I think I'm good with Crystal season 3 temporarily taking Precure's staff away; it explains why MahoPre isn't the most (imo) exciting of seasons. Maybe that show was made to move slowly on purpose because they had to divert people to work on Crystal. I do hope Crystal season 3 makes it worth it.
From what I heard, Sailor moon crystal 3 should not have production issues either(atleast for now), few weeks ago they were already 6 episodes into production.
Yes, i heard they started working on Crystal since December last year Hopefully weekly schedule won't hurt production quality.

December of last year; that definitely lines up with when Go!Pri was wrapping up and Maho!Pre was beginning production. I have confidence in Crystal season 3 if it really has taken the higher skilled staff members from Precure.
I don't mean to be rude but why are you guys expecting animators to just hop off of shows like One Piece to go work on Super. Super is obviously rushed and on a tight schedule with very little talent. It's just not gonna happen

DB is one of, if not the most popular franchises, some people still hope Toei will put more effort into writing and animation, i gave up on Super anime and stick to manga/movies.

Really good drawing. I noticed in the tweet that he stated it's a practice drawing. I guess it'll be for the episode when Goku fights Hit.

But the fact that there are still people reading the series after all this time… All I can say is; “thank you.” Really, that’s all.

And that you also have IMMENSELY skewed and comically backwards priorities in what you think is most important and needed to make a good Dragon Ball story.

I really hope he is working on a naoki tate episode, it would be awesome. He did work with naoki tate in episode 5 but unfortunately that episode did not have time to be finished.

It's so beautiful. ( TuT ) This is what happens when Toei actually gives a team enough time to work on a series properly, huh? I bet that it being a late night show helps too.
Precure was sacrificed for Crystal this year, and I think I'm ok with that because this really looks that good a show.

If Super receives aid I bet it'd be from either the ex World Trigger or Kindachi staff (or both).
One thing that surprises me greatly is that they haven't relied on CG to help with the schedule.
I wouldn't mind a few CG cuts here and there if it helped out with the overall quality of episodes and the schedule. I also wish they would do some CG background work like Pokemon for some more dynamic shots.
Even Precure, which relied on cgi quite a bit last season, hasn't used it at all barring the ending animation this year. I am wondering what happened to Toei's cgi teams. Maybe they all are on Film Gold right now?
