Heh. Yeah, folks, let's get jumping on recording for Conan's trailer.

This is basically a huge reminder and load of info for everyone about what's currently going on. First off, I'm amazed that mine and Kaboom's encouraging got a couple of you to send your lines along. Regarding the trailer, I'm currently working on an alternate ending title card rather than the plainly dull blue text of "Battle for Earth", so be looking forward. Also, as I stated, I'm still open for suggestions for a different instrumental (as long as it's in the ballpark length of between 4 minutes and 4.20), so feel free to PM me a suggestion if you feel it can do better than Requiem. Another small tibit, I've made sure to do a couple last minute edits to my Yamcha lines in the trailer, so expect those to sound different from what the second demo had shown.

Now, for the reminders and important info. These are all those who've submitted their respective lines and of which I've implemented into my editing-master file:

Conan (Myself!) - Oozaru Gohan and Yamcha
JKD-kid - Trailer Narrator
omegacwa - Goku
Swift - Kuririn
Timo - Kaio and Amond

So as you all can see, we're pretty much getting down to business of finishing this up. However, there's still the matter of the remaining fellow members' recordings I need (not trying to rush any of you, but by this point, I don't think it'd be harsh to give 'yas a nudge in the back):

Kirbopher - Tien

Now, I'm pretty sure I PMed all of you (possible exceptions being Kino and Rick, since you two already know my email I believe) the info on where to email me. Ironically, Kirbopher was the first of everyone to send me a recording, however it wasn't for this trailer; it was his Goku audition lines (not sure how he mixed the two up). But Kirbopher, I still need your help for this (though the Narrator for the trailer is basically handled, so you can just do Tien's lines). Here's the script for the trailer as a reminder:

One (for real) last thing, I'll be working on making the downloadable version of the final version of the trailer an AVI format, so definitely look forward to that!

I think the R29 logo shouldn't be there at all >.>

Oh, it's shabby alright. You need to get rid of that generic 'Gothic' text, and make it look like a real logo. How about having it reflected off Tullece's scouter, with a battle- damaged Goku to accompany it?

Was kinda harsh, especially when you consider I've stated I'm no artist specialist when it comes to Photoshop and I've been very open to suggestions to make this trailer better in your guys' eyes. Tell ya' what Steven, make a logo/title card to end the trailer and I'll gladly think of using that. You, Nathan, Announcer, or anyone skilled with Photoshop give me something and I'll get rid of that "shabby" piece of work.

Semi-update: Have gotten recordings from Rick, Kino, and Future_Trunks (all of whom I am currently implementing into the trailer). Now all I need is Kirbopher! After his submitting and whatever input some of you guys wanna give me about replacements for the Requiem instrumental and title card, this trailer is finished and being posted! Yep!

Hey Conan, I'm kinda... y'know, majoring in CGA and stuff, and I know my way around Paint/Photoshop. In a few days, when I'm done dealing with this massive deluge of schoolwork I've got to all finish over the course of today and tomorrow, I'll make a title splash image thingy to your liking.

So sometime about Thursday, probably, I'll get in touch with you. Try to be on YIM as often as possible for the next few days, and hopefully I can catch you. We'll chat about exactly what to do with the final trailer, too.

If either of you guys want, I can help with that too; I'm not too bad with digital editing and such myself. (Though I suppose most people who can CG can say that of themselves...) Let me know if you'd like me to assist with that. I'm probably gonna give it a try in my spare time anyway, so...

Huh. I can maybe understand Rene H.'s not sending you his stuff yet (as far as I can tell he's not a member of the forum), but Kirb? I mean, for someone who's already worked with voice-acting before...

Hmm. Never mind; scratch that last comment. I know he's busy with a few other projects involving voice-acting at the moment that are likely taking up most of his free time. He probably doesn't want to be distracted from those for now. And, well, I'm really in no place to complain about him taking his time to record... >_<

Actually on the trailer I have a suggestion for the Oozaru I'd record a really throaty roar then pitch it down a little and add an echo I did it on some roars a bleach dub where I played a hollow. I suspect a guy recording would do even better.

Semi-update on the trailer; Kirbopher's at last sent me his recording, I did some tweaking with it and implemented it into the trailer editing file. So close to being finished! I also received a couple instrumental suggestions from our own Kino, however, I didn't feel they would do as well as Requiem (I did make sure to give them fair listens). As overused as the Requiem for a Dream instrumental most likely is on the Internet fandom, I'm more than likely sticking with it. Starting today though, you guys have one week to PM me a suggestion for a different instrumental (which, as I've said, has to be in the ballpark length of 4 minutes - 4:20); the same goes for an alternate title card design for the trailer's end. After that, if I don't see anything worth replacing, I'm sticking with what I've come up with. I think I'm being more than fair, I hope you guys agree.

Thanks for the suggestion Azure, I made sure to add a somewhat echo effect to the Oozaru and I'm liking how it's turned out.
