I disagree. I had qualms with the roster even in the DIMPS Budokai days. No 19 on B2 and 3, no entire Ginew Force, etc. ...

Fair enough. It was odd some characters were left off. I guess it was just due to time constraint; DIMPS tend to be a victim to that. Thankfully, this time they have the possibility to add more characters in via DLC post-release.

A lot of people thought it'd be in the base game, before we found out there would be DLC. It'd be a spoiler for the movie but I'm pretty sure Super Saiyan God was revealed before Battle of Gods aired anyway.

But now it's definitely going to be separate DLC for any content for the new movie, going off recent reveals.

Super Saiyan God's official reveal wasn't until after the preview screenings, which was why we were bugging Kei for an artist rendering. This would have been a lot sooner.

If it was going to be put in the basic game for this theoretical non-DLC situation, hopefully it would have had a decently hard unlock that took more than a day.

Next month's V-Jump, seeing how they are the end villain and the bonus villain, will likely have Demigra's transformation and Fiendish LSS Broli as big splash images. With super exciting text about how dangerous the situation is. =P

Local 1v1 is only on the world tournament stage. Massive botch by Dimps. No HUD vs CPU or in online vs, another massive botch. Dimps' focused so much on fluffy gimmicks like 2v2, 3v3 & CaC and messed up on the basics that make the game playable. Stupid, game went from a 9 to a 6 in my eyes because of these easily avoidable design flaws.

Very interesting, so many costumes for these characters! They could just be color swaps and what not but who knows.

Goku: Always got a ton of outfits.

Vegeta: 10? I wonder if we will be getting some pink shirt action!

Freeza/Cell: Color swaps I'm guessing.

Vegito: Most interesting...

Bardock: Now would be the time to give him his DB Minus outfit!

Gogeta: I wonder if they will give him his alternate white coloring like they always do.

I don't know what some of them will be, but I actually don't think any of these will be color swaps since some characters only have one available.

Vegetto and Bardock are the ones that really leave me guessing. Even if one of Vegetto's is a controlled form, what is the other? Bardock has his normal outfit, battle damaged and then a wildcard. Is it his Minus outfit? His masked Time Breaker outfit? A controlled version of his regular outfit? One of them without the bandanna or scouter? Really just don't know.

Can someone tell me why 100% Freeza and 100% Cell are entirely separate characters? What advantages and disadvantages are there to make them distinct from their lesser forms without outright dwarfing them?

Because the only in-game transformations are temporary ones like Super Saiyan (and possibly Gohan's Ultimate stage, don't know if that will be temporary or not). Previous games without in-game transformation have had Freeza and Cell like this.

Bandai's ugly outfit is a different one from Trunks' in the data mine. It's not just Trunks' jacket and you add a cape onto it. They are a single piece already.
