What sense would make if Vegeta became a God when there is no need ?

Whis telling him to get the form so he could train with Goku is more then enough of a reason.

In terms of the Ki I think it has more to do with Goku fighting and training all the time which is something Vegeta does as well plus both are used to the normal Ssj levels which might also have something to do with it.

I wasn't talking about the ritual itself. But just the scene of Videl saying she's pregnant and everyone getting happy for her and Gohan. These scenes barely happen on screen.
Usually there's a timeskip and the couple already have kids, the next time we see them.

Good job on mentioning HunterxHunter. When I talk about giving the middle finger to shounen tropes, HxH always comes to mind.
Togashi does that even more than Toriyama. Chimera ant arc is the perfect example.

And yeah, the Chimera Ant arc was phenomenal and frustrating all in one. If only Togashi would quit putting the damn series on hiatus.

Togashi does that even more than Toriyama. Chimera ant arc is the perfect example.
Gon was like a Kid Goku until that arc making his character unique.

Hopefully he'll do more then 2 chapters this year or better yet finish the current arc.

The point is that the form has a time limit, so to train several minutes in form and after to fall back doesn't really have a use... Is there any guarantee that Vegeta is able to maintain the form's power like Goku did? Shenlon right out said that the Saiyan God is an artifial/temporary God.

He did say that if they need to fight someone he'll be using it and if not then how will he be able to fight Frieza ?

1. -Vegeta is(used to be) a strategian in fighting not a genius... Not mention that Vegeta ended up being a dumb fool after Namek saga because he wanted to surpass Goku, and was blinded by pride and jealousy. In other words, Vegeta used no more his brain in fights, he better relied himself on brute strength.
2. -Because Vegeta will not be the exception, he will be the rule - so Goku's absorbtion of God ki is the exception because he is the main character.
3. -But they ended up something indivual... Mystic Gohan, Fusion Gotenks, God Goku, Super Saiyan Rage Vegeta(Gohan got rage boost prior SSJ)...

He did come up with the Genkidama plan to use against Kid Buu so he doesn't completely shut off his brain during fights.

And this is why Goku isn't one of my favorite characters.... he can attain everything while the others have to struggle to get to his level, and when they "reach" his level Goku has become more powerful.

And what if its an imitation? Vegeta is a Sayan so its obvious he would want to attain ssjg and maintain it like Goku did, I don't have any problem with that.

Yeah... That's why Vegeta has always been behind Goku, because during all his blind hatred towards Goku he never used his brain... But in the Buu saga he changed... but before that never really cared about using brain in fights(from the point he was surpassed by Goku), because he always believed he must suprass Goku in strength not in techniques, so on, so forth.

Keep in mind Goku didn't get where he is by himself he had trainers and 7 years in the afterlife which is something Vegeta didn't have yet he's still keeping up and from what little that we know about this movie it looks like we're going to find out how strong Vegeta can get under the same circumstances.

It's not the absolute end of the 10 years yet. They don't have to be gradual.
