From what I can see in that picture, the art of this special will be better than the others, so that's a plus.

Though if it is about all of U3 I hope we get to see who the shadow man is in the next two pages. Having the big reveal happen in a special would be balls.

From the title of the announcement on the front page (Special Chapter: Baddack), it seems that this chapter will be Bardock-centered.

Boooooooooooooooring....

First 3 pages....Bardock sees the future....next 3 pages....his fight in Planet Vegeta's Atmosphere...the next two pages...Bardock running away before the blast is supposed to come....the next 3 pages....his descent into space and crash landing on a nearby planet...epilogue showing him going Super Saiyan :/

Akira Toriyama's only power is to control his creations. Raichi isn't one of them, so there was nothing he could do.

I'm not sure what you expected, but I don't see how the fight would be that interesting without Toriyama actually being able to do something.

His appearance was just a gag/cameo, like all of universe 2.

The good news is that we will the 2nd round of the tournament, because Bardock says Raichi is gonna lose...

He didn't necessarily say Raichi is going to lose with respect to the tournament. He might have been referring to the future beyond the tournament, who will ultimately kill Raichi ala Plan To Eradicate the Saiyans. Although, yeah, I think it's very likely Raichi will lose to whoever he fights next round.
