Freeza did it for his own good, because he was afraid of a rebellion. Not because a cat ordered him to do it.

Pointless and stupid retcon. I love Beerus character but he doesn't need to be the reason for evertyhing now (Planet vegeta destruction, Elder Kai sealed in Z Sword, Kaio's planet being so small...)Enough is enough. Don't fix what isn't broken.

I guess the anniversary special with Tarble, Abo and Cado is now de-canonised...everything else will be answered as Super goes on, I suppose.

The interesting thing about Tarble is he could easily show up at any point if they wanted. Being Vegeta's brother gives him an easy in, and Vegeta's personality makes it plausible that he never speaks about him. Toriyama did have a story credit for the JSAT special, and Tarble was sort of acknowledged during Battle of Gods. Tarble also happens to share his voice actor (Masakazu Morita) with Whis. Both Beerus's destruction streak and Freeza's return are good excuses for Tarble to come to Earth for help/warnings, if not just Avo and Cado again.

Avo and Cado could also easily be tied to Freeza's resurrection. Hell, they could be opponents for Goten and Trunks to fight during the RF arc!

But I think I'm just writing fanfiction here. There haven't been any hints of Tarble in the promotional material at all.

With regards to BoG now taking place 6 months after Buu, it's a great idea, and gives them 5 years to play with until the "peaceful era" from 779-784 if I remember correctly?.
They probably won't refer to any dates now (like One Piece did before and after the timeskip) in order to continue as long as they want to.

I'm looking forward to a Frieza training montage lol. Exciting times lie ahead!.

It was dialog that previously only existed in FUNimation's English dub (and maybe some other dubs), yes. It was not written/spoken that way in the Japanese dialog within Battle of Gods itself.

What is being discussed here is that the Super Start Guide appears to say that Beerus told Freeza to destroy it. This is in opposition to (as noted above) the dialog within Battle of Gods itself, and incidentally happens to line up with what was spoken aloud in the dub.

If Goku's 1st fight with Beerus is in the 5th episodes then it looks like the arc will end on episode 10 :

6 : Beerus attends Bulma's party
7 : Vegeta&the Z fighters fight him
8-9 : Goku gets Ssjg and fights him again
10 : Aftermath of the arc

Or do you think it'll go on longer ?

Your list seems spot on. But as far as retcon goes, I wonder where Champa and Whis Waifu fit in all of this.

Freeza did it for his own good, because he was afraid of a rebellion. Not because a cat ordered him to do it.

Correction (due to what we just found out): he did it EARLY for his own good.
Given that 39 years is a nap for Beerus, Freezer likely had something like a century before being forced to blow up the planet.
But for his own good, and because he was afraid of a rebellion, he did it decades earlier than he could have.

So that's a minor change that includes just one more word: "Freezer blew up Vegeta because he was afraid" just becomes "Freezer blew up Vegeta EARLY because he was afraid", and that is by no mean an annoyance, it makes Freezer's personality deeper if nothing else, knowing that he was going to backstab the Saiyans from the beginning even if he didn't mind them, having those commercial relationships with them while thinking the whole time that they're slated for destruction by his hand in a few decades anyway.

Interestingly, Xenoverse had already taken that road when Beerus and Freezer were meeting on the battlefield:
BEERUS: "Did you destroy planet Vegeta like I told you to?"
FREEZER: "I did it because they were getting on my nerves! I am NOT at your service!!"
