I'm going to simple out your human thing.
Human(or humanoid) to them is homo to us.
Humanoid Saiyan
Humanoid Earthling
Humanoid Purple, Blue, and Red guys with horns
Humanoid Mutans.
Humanoid Namekian

But Piccolo would be Namekian-Earthling

I need glasses legitimate. But I see...4 fingers...well 3 plus a thumb. Probably my eyes fucking with me. Lastly maybe Low Class Saiyans only get low class intelligence.

My theory for why Raditz didn't train his tail was basically: It's an elites only thing, and the other saiyans wouldn't let him.

i might be wrong, but, maybe Raditz just played with Goku, that tail is his weakness, and just wanted to be jerk and double cross Goku, i mean, it really doesn't make any sense for Vegeta and Nappa to have their tails trained, but not Raditz. Vegeta could be jerk, but Nappa seemed to care for Raditz, so I'm sure he would at least do that for him. As for Goku having a son, well, if even Goofy knew where children come from, so can Goku :)

Nappa and Vegeta are elites

Just to make it clear, my problem isn't that Raditz's tail was a weakness for him when Goku's wasn't. That doesn't bother me. Who knows what happens with him. My problem is with how absolutely sure the good guys are that it would be, especially since they explicitly base it off Goku's tail. They essentially say, "Raditz's tail will definitely be his weak point because Goku's tail was always his weak point." Except that it's not. That they went with that plan? Fine. That certainly was the smartest thing to try. To go in absolutely sure it would work when their own personal experience proves to them that it doesn't have to necessarily work? When one of the people agreeing to this plan personally got his ass kicked for falsely assuming the tail would be a weak point? Well, that's just stupid.

There is no debate. If people disagree, that's fine, it's their opinion.

Unless you thought I was trying to bring back the Goku vs Superman debate, in that case I have no interest in that. Besides, we all know it's gonna be Sonic. He's like both of them combined.

Nah, I just meant that that kind of statement can lead to arguments especially on a Dragon Ball site, and I was trying to circumvent that in case a bunch of people leapt to engage you on that since that's not the purpose of this thread at all.

As long as it doesn't get too crazy, I certainly don't mind if the topic comes up. After all, it's a legitimate question as to why I didn't mention it. Then again, for all you know, it might have been something I'd planned to address in the end-of-arc analysis. But, honestly, while there are some similarities, I've never really felt that Goku's origin was a ripoff of Superman's until Dragon Ball Minus came along. So maybe I'll mention it. Maybe not. I dunno. Most likely I'll save it all for when I cover DB-.

I feel Goku's origin is like Superman's in the same way Superman's origin is like the story of Moses. A new take on something old

Well, with Raditz's tail, Goku tends not to overthink things you know. Plus, desperate times and all

While I agree that Superman's origin is similar to Moses, I feel like Superman/Goku's origin have more in-common. Like how Superman and Goku, as infants, both narrowly escape their planets explosion and arrive on Earth.

DBD: The Saiyan Arc Part 2!

As always, let me know what you think, and thank you for watching. Hopefully some good debate will crop up out of this one. I get a little snarky at points. =P

Excellent as always.

Cracked up during the ending part. Never really thought about the falling into hell line in that sense. I guess that's an aspect of the anime that's a little more interesting. Although the Chekhov's gun issue isn't fixed as he never does fall into hell, the road definitely feels like a genuine trial compared to the manga version of...running and, uh...RUNNING!

Looking forward to the next part. It's one of my favourites! Goku rushing back as all of his friends are dying?! There's a sense of immediacy that I don't think is ever quite matched later on in the series.

I think you could have taken the opportunity to talk about the anime's version of Hell and Resurrection F's too. But excellent video as usual, nonetheless.

What do you mean? Yes, he does. There's a whole episode about it. He meets two ogres. They compete with him in strength and speed competitions. He eats Enma's secret fruit. They show him a way out of hell. It leads to Enma's deak, and he has to start all over again.

Neither of those is really relevant for this video, especially considering the anime has its own series of videos.

Of course! You're right. I'm sorry! I'm so forgetful sometimes. How could I ever forget the origins of "HFIL"!
