It technically did. Just not a public demo.
Technically, so does the HD Collection. Pretty sure that's not the point you were making, when complaining about the lack of a demo now, was it? lol

The release dates if anyone was wondering.
AU November 1.
EU November 2.
NA November 6.
As I will be picking the game up on release for $40 here in Aus I will post about the language options and anything else anyone would like to know. Unless the game isn't in on time that happens often here with anime and anime games.

I'm still confused over something about the Budokai HD collection. If the Budokai 3 version in the HD collection is not the greatest hits version, then howcome it still has the Japanese voices as a choice for the language in the NA version when the original US version of Budokai 3 did not have the Japanese voices? If I recall only the greatest hits version of Budokai 3 in NA had Japanese voices and not the original NA version. Because I'm still hoping we still get those 4 extra costumes (Goku w/ Halo, King Piccolo, Trunks w/ fighting armor and Vegeta w/ scouter) in the HD collection if it is the greatest hits version NB is using as the base. Because only the greatest hits version of Budokai 3 had the japanese voices and the extra costumes, so the HD collection should still have them. I hope someone can help clarify this for me.

It really sucks, that this collection have new soundtrack, i really liked Budokai trilogy music, i don`t get it, are they sure, that Budokai music is stolen, or are they just delete it, just because its Yamamoto? If yes, then I'm kinda afraid about influence it will make to all anime/video games/tokusatsu he made music for.

Going by the official retail websites for UK and US:

UK - Japanese vocals
US - English vocals

It's sort of confusing whether or not the US includes actually the Japanese cast voices too. As it doesn't list them.

There's videos out there that clearly point out that all Yamamoto did to the songs he "composed" were obviously modified, still, you can always listen to the original soundtrack with the custom soundtrack feature.

Darn it. I guess only time will tell. Only way to be sure is to wait for the actual HD collection to come out I guess....

I'd be okay with it having Ultimate Tenkaichi's soundtrack, but...Oh, dear Dende, it has Budokai Tenkaichi 3 music as well :(

EDIT: And here's the opening cinematic for Budokai......with Tag Vs music?

Dragon Ball's Tag Vs: Enigmatic Soul

Seems like they leave me no choice but to mute the in-game music and use my own. What a disaster.

They did a fantastic job on Raging Blast 2 adding properly BT2's awesome soundtrack and then here it's a turdsack.

That Music does not fit at all why not just put head cha-la in there and call it a day. But how could he record the opening ? Its the pal opening so it might be the pal release.

This is likely gonna be the same for all regions. Even if it wasn't, that's no longer an issue these days.

EDIT: And here's the Budokai 3 intro....with the terrible music from the trailer....Oh, for Dende's sake...

Ugh, that wasn't AS bad as the Budokai replacement. At least it still had somewhat the same feel as the original song.

I like the song not as good as the original but I have every dbz opening theme on my PS3 so no problem. Also i'm gonna be searching for the B1 & B3 soundtracks so if I find them i'll put a link up.

 Just for kicks I decided to play other DBZ game openings over the Budokai 1 opening. The ones that fit best where Final Bout's opening, Head Cha-la & Budokai 2's opening.

Direct gameplay footage from (what I'm assuming is) the European version. Japanese audio makes me think the ports really will just have the audio the original releases included, so dub only for America and sub only for Europe.

Also here's the intro to Budokai 1 from the European version. Europe got this special montage of scenes from the story mode, whereas America and Japan both got the remake of the anime's opening.

The music is just silly at this point. It literally made me laugh. Ah, would it be silly though to not buy a game just because of the music?

Yes, yes it is silly. Because Budokai 3 is still a very fun game to play, especially in HD.

It's not silly when you can still get the original version for cheap. Being natively HD isn't that big a deal, your TV probably does a decent job on its own scaling SD material to fit your screen. It comes down to if you'd rather have the game look marginally better than have the original soundtrack, and if you're willing to pay $40 for a couple of games you probably already own or could at least find for significantly cheaper on their original platform.
